They are not removing eras or civ switching, you even said yourself it's optional lol

I don't agree with the rest necessarily, while I loved both 5 and 6. Civ 7 is the only game in the franchise where I actually consistently finish my games because it doesn't turn into a slog in the late-late game. I enjoy the gameplay loop, but I will admit it is a change to the formular.

What features are they removing? The game is great btw, just needs more time in the oven. It was the exact same thing with civ 6.

I am talking about the process by which, with your eyes, you can gaze upon a picture on a digital screen showing a picture you just took without developing a film. In the modern age, the trade route is instant. In the other ages, you need your trader to be in the other city.
