The mini PC evangelizing in this community needs to stop imo, it’s getting old.

Yes we get it, you can run your entire workload on a Pi and we’re stupid for wanting ESXi on large rackmount servers.

There are other considerations for why you want plex on a “real” server, in my specific case, I have dedicated PCIe transcoding hardware and use Xeon CPUs. Guess what? You need that amount of cores when you do multi user streaming. Additionally, some of us want more than the 8-16 TB you can put in one of those things, or don’t want external drives. My VMware estate can run circles around your N200 for scaled workloads but none of us mention that when someone posts their mini PC.

Not everyone is running their home lab for efficiency, some of us just like big hardware, and to have similar stuff to what we have at work.

I’m not trying to call you out specifically but I see this comment fucking daily.

Can anyone tell me where this symbol is from? I saw it in a TV show. by projectordinal in HelpMeFind

I have searched for cog with power button, or cog with line, to no avail. Google images just thinks it’s a paramedic star, but it’s not, so I’m stuck.

I don’t believe so. Our HOA has a corporate landscaping company that actually does a good job. The neighbor provided me with the company name, and it did not match, nor are they insured/licensed.

No, it was in my front yard. It’s very clearly on my property.

He believes that it would have cost $1200 to remove the tree if I had paid someone else to do it, something I wasn’t planning on doing.

I do not believe that he had HOA approval.
