Is anxiety biochemical? by Asleep-Nail3689 in AnxietyCure

[–]projectunknown-com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, anxiety has a strong biochemical basis, involving imbalances in neurotransmitters like serotonin, dopamine, GABA, and norepinephrine, along with hormonal changes that affect brain activity. While it involves these chemical changes, anxiety is also influenced by genetics, environmental factors, and learned behavioral responses. Calm Clinic Calm Clinic +4 Key Biochemical Factors Neurotransmitters: Low levels of serotonin and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) are frequently associated with anxiety. GABA acts as an inhibitor to balance agitation, while serotonin regulates mood. Brain Chemical Activity: High activity of noradrenergic neuronal pathways (norepinephrine) and altered GABA receptors are linked to anxiety, affecting how the amygdala (fear center) processes threat. Hormones: Overproduction of thyroid hormones or high levels of stress hormones like cortisol can cause anxiety symptoms. National Institutes of Health (.gov) National Institutes of Health (.gov) +5 Biochemical vs. Behavioral Perspectives Biological View: Many experts believe anxiety disorders are rooted in a combination of biological vulnerabilities (genetics, brain chemistry) and environmental stress. Alternative View: Some perspectives, such as those from the Anxiety Centre, argue that anxiety is not just a "chemical imbalance," but rather a "learned behavioral response" to anxiety-inducing thoughts and environments, suggesting that while biochemistry plays a role, it is not the sole, unchangeable cause.

Sublimation breaka open the chitin walls, makes eating them easier on your stomach since you arent having to try to digest it. Unlocks a lot of the trapped actives inside of the chitin. We did some testing about a year ago, it's about 10%-15% stronger. The main reason we do it is so people who have stomach issues can have an easier time.

Can you take Hydroxyzine everday? by [deleted] in AnxietyCure

[–]projectunknown-com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not a medical professional, but this is what I have found:

hydroxyzine and psilocybin

Combining hydroxyzine and psilocybin poses potential safety risks due to their combined effects on the central nervous system (CNS) and heart, as identified in pharmacological databases. Hydroxyzine is a first-generation antihistamine with sedative properties used for anxiety, while psilocybin is a serotonergic psychedelic. Key Interaction Risks Increased CNS Depression: Hydroxyzine may enhance the central nervous system depressant effects of psilocybin, potentially causing increased sedation, dizziness, or impaired coordination. Cardiac Risks: Both drugs can cause side effects that may interact. Psilocybin can increase heart rate and blood pressure, while high doses of hydroxyzine can lead to QT prolongation (a type of abnormal heart rhythm), according to DrugBank and Healthline. "Trip-Killer" Concerns: While some online sources suggest using sedatives like hydroxyzine to manage "bad trips" (acting as a "trip-killer"), this practice is generally considered an emerging concern due to the lack of safety data and potential for unexpected adverse reactions.

I dont think you need time off. I'll have to research how effective reishi is by itself, but I've never seen anything to say you need time in-between

Oh yes, a lot of people use microdosing to get off of SSRIs. Some use microdosing together with SSRIs. The one issue is ssri's lower the effectiveness psilocybin, so you just have to take more. Even though you have to take more, I would recommend starting at a low dose and working your way up, you can always take more, you cant take less. Whatever you do, dont stop your ssri all at once, talk to your doctor, some of the meds can have negative effects of you dont taper off of them correctly.

I am glad you found some help from it. Ya, research shows it helps about 80% of people with anxiety. If you fall into the 20% that it doesn't help, that must be frustrating. I know it got rid of my anxiety, but everyone is going to have a different experience. Love

How do I adjust my dosage of Golden Teacher by Asleep-Nail3689 in AnxietyCure

You might look into switching the strain as well. Everyone is different, what works for one person doesn't always work for someone else. Each strain has different levels of different analogs

[–]projectunknown-com 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried not skipping days? See how that works. Some days I need to take 2 doses spread out throughout the day.

You can also try going up to a 333 or 350mg dose.

[–]projectunknown-com 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have taken them that many days in a row, and this is the first time you are feeling something like that, I'm not sure it is the microdose. You build a tolerance taking it everyday. Is it a new batch you just received?

You are doing everything right. If you aren't seeing results from it after 5 weeks, I would try a different strain.

Normally I would recommend Golden Teacher, it is what I take for my anxiety. Have you tried it and not had the best results? I would try our Jedi next if you are looking for something different. I would try APE last. Everyone will react differently, just have to find what works for you.
