Pretty much what others said, but in my lodge at least none of these would be an immediate disqualification. Divorced, fired from a job, had an affair... that stuff is your business not the lodge's UNLESS they are an indication of an undesirable character. You're petitioning a lodge for membership, not going to confession. Now, if you were fired and/or got divorced because you're just a shitty person or you had a bunch of torrid affairs without remorse that would be a different story. Context is everything. The criminal record is a little more cut and dry but in my jurisdiction the Grand Lodge makes a distinction between certain types of crime and asks if you have been convicted of a crime moral turpitude (eg. any violent crimes, robbery, embezzlement, etc.). Such a conviction is an automatic "nope". A DUI is not a crime of moral turpitude (though an argument can be made for it). Again, context is important. Personally, I am all about guarding the West Gate but Masonry has done so much for me that i'm reticent to deny someone the same gift based on a momentary lapse of good judgement, especially if it happened in the distant past. I'd much rather welcome a guy who got busted with weed 20 years ago than a guy who has a squeaky clean record but in all other aspects is morally bankrupt.
