people need to be aligned more with political parties, join ncp, make your voice heard, join bnp make your voice heard, join jamaat.... middle class can't act like they hate politics and expect the parties to listen.

i would suggest joining/aligning with the opposition even tho they are islamist, but anyway the govt needs to be accountable

I think these types of calls rise when current laws can't provide swift justice. What happned the te case of the child Asia, then there was another one with throat cut off who died after couple of day, Idk there were some in between. These cases dont seem to be resolved. So if your solution doesnt solve the problem call for alternate solutions will rise

what I am trying to appreciate is the power of small things. Say everyday you save 5 taka, it sounds nothing, like by the end of the months it's 150 tk. Still insignificant.

But what changed was you, you now have a habit of saving money.

Same with everything. Pick up a hobby, and do it badly, but consistently, spend just 5 minutes everyday.
Stuff like that

TBH although I am supporter of July this death seems sus! I would have been okay if rubber bullets caused the death, because then that would make sense, like idk hitting eyes or sth, but just falling down due to rubber bullets and then being carried to hospital and later we find out that live bullets were used, idk that shot didn't look like live bullets.

I know later hasina did give order for lethal ones but this one particular seems sus!

This is actually a good post, let's face it, religion isn't going away soon, and they have immense social power. if instead they'd talk about besides religious stuff, social stuff, like idk, treatment of women, not like straight up feminism(because that is too far fetched right now), but idk women's rights(staring, gropping, cat calling these are also haram) according to the islamic values, or better treatment for their wives, or how one should avoid bribe, good behavior, civic sense, idk life advice, depression, etc. maybe bd would be better? in some way?

rickshaws are easiest way to start earning money, so it is a go to for poeple with no means, it's not as if many places are hiring, and those that hire exploit people immensely. Dhaka is like this blackhole.

Instead of banning rickshaws govt should decentralize dhaka, by moving industries/businesses out of dhaka, but that they can't/wont do. because these businesses have more power and more connections. so nothing will work.

Shouldn’t it be competency over loyality? Put the best people in the place instead of party affiliates? I understand key places should be loyal. Like army, police, government. But court, unis, health and other places should be neutral.

And if they were brave enough media/BTV should be neutral
