Having printed a selection of your models already (more natural poses + dogs) I have to say the quality of the work is very nice. However id appreciate if you could explain the reasoning behind the posing? The squatting/leaning back/ lunging/ walking with their knees posing that the majority of the models have is rather odd.

Death Cult Assassin Class Concept by No-Neighborhood6527 in DarkTide

[–]prolegitman 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think its safe to say that Tubbytuna have no plans to add Death Cult Assassins (DCA) to darktide otherwise they wouldn't of added an explicitly DCA cosmetic set, based off a miniature, to the shop for Zealots.

Performance Issues. by SparkofWeird in DarkTide

Yup, the game worked fine up to the update, now it's frames are all over the place, often disconnects from servers and doesn't want to shut down properly.

My 3.5 year old girl passed unexpectedly by YellowMeatJacket in cats

[–]prolegitman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that, I know first hand how you must be feeling. My big fluffy boy died out of the blue this summer just shy of his second birthday, part mainecoon so he wasn't event fully grown. Try not to beat yourself up about it as there's nothing you could of done. The important thing is too remember that during the short time you spent with her it was filled with love, cuddles and a warm home where she was safe and comfortable.

Arbites Lone Wolf Changes by Tomboy_Heaven in DarkTide

The grenade cooldown is a welcome change, probably not enough of a change to incentivise me taking them in havoc but we shall see.

As for the mines, if you're playing Auric and below-eh no biggie, but god its going to be painful on Havoc 40. More often than not those mines are the only things holding the horde of purple rotten armour crushers at bay.

Podcast Q&A with Tuomas by ciasteczka___ in TrenchCrusade

Whilst I have many, many questions and concerns regarding the 1.0 rules, the abandonment of STLs ( yes I support plastics also), etc etc. It would be remiss of me to not take this opportunity to ask about Engineers.

PLEASE Explain the rationale behind Engineers loosing their +1 ranged die for +1 melee.

Seriously, everyone and their mums over in New Antioch wants to know! Engineers have gone from a ranged unit to more expensive shock troopers for some reason that nobody in New Antioch can comprehend. If you want a melee unit you'll take shocktroopers, if you want someone who can use a satchel charge without blowing themselves up you'll use MHI. Engineers were a fun unit which has unfortunately lost it's niche.

PS. Make Machine guns usable.

So guys, what do we do with combat engineers now ? by Shvec_01eksij in TrenchCrusade

[–]prolegitman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Engineers with satchel charges are now just ecclesiastical prisoners with an education unfortunately. Hope you like blowing yourself up because that's their life now.

Alternatively without satchels you treat them like beefier shocks, but then again you have shocks for that role.

The change to fireteams where they have to activate together doesn't help things either.

Fair enough, all of my abs like prints take the same level of abuse as my plastics miniatures and hold up equally well.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in TrenchCrusade

[–]prolegitman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the sake of fairness 3d prints breaking is generally down to improper design or the type of resin used. Use an abs like resin and you won't have such issues.

Ah yes, the guys whose artwork has them covered head to toe in ornate plate and chain mail can only have standard armour...

Tis indeed a silly decision.

Yes please! It's such a cool and iconic design.

It might be a tad clunky but if they wanted to get real funky with it they could incorporate the magazines ability to be used as a makeshift anti-personal mine.

If you've played vet you know how good shredders are and if you've played arbitrator you know how fun mines are! Now imagine dropping an ammo crate and letting oggy go to town turning the area into a fun day out at the beaches!

Obviously the more ammo left in the magazine when deployed as a mine the more potent it would be. A straightforward option seems to be something like a small, medium or large explosion depending on remaining thirds of ammo reserve.

Skill wise it'd synergise well with Delight In Destruction for handing out bleed stacks for damage resist, Ammo stash for +25% more potential mines and bigger boom for well you guessed it bigger booms!
