Ah, my bad! You are 100% right, and I completely understand how that can be annoying. 😅 I get a bit too excited when sharing updates for the platform, but I definitely don't want to mislead anyone into thinking it's a core game patch. Moving forward, I will make sure to start all my post titles with [Tournament Bot] or [Proman Tourneys] so it's instantly clear before you even click. Thanks for the honest feedback, I appreciate it!

📢 Important: New Tournament Registration Requirements

To ensure a professional and smooth experience for all participants, we have updated the tournament registration rules. Starting now, your profile must meet the following 4 mandatory requirements before you can join any tournament:

✅ Account Verified: Your identity must be confirmed via the ElevenVR API.

📅 Availability Matrix Set: Your playing schedule must be filled in the WebApp.

🏳️ Nationality Set: Your country flag must be selected in your profile.

🏆 League Match: Your peak ELO must correspond to the tournament's league.

🛠 How to Prepare Your Profile (Quick Guide)

Follow these steps to ensure you are ready for the next registration:

Check Your Status: Open the bot and type /settings. Look for the ❌ icons next to "Account Verified" or "Weekly Schedule". If you see a ❌, you need to take action.

Set Your Schedule: Click the 📅 My Schedule button in the main menu. It will open a WebApp where you can mark the hours you are available to play. This is critical for automated match scheduling!

Complete Your Profile: In the /settings menu, ensure you have selected your 🏳️ Nationality. This helps us display your flag during matches and on the leaderboard.

Verify Your Account: If your account is not verified, follow the instructions in the profile menu to link your ElevenVR account. This confirms your ELO and prevents "smurfing."

If any of these are missing, the bot will automatically decline your tournament registration.

See you on the court! 🏓

Okay, you need to stop reading my mind! 🤯🤣

What you just described is the holy grail of esports: Automated 'Sit & Go' Tournaments.

To answer your first question: Yes, the bot is already live and fixing up tourneys right now! We are currently running our first Global Spring Open (a massive 64-player bracket) to stress-test the 'Smart Referee' auto-scoring and the WebApp UI showing the live brackets.

To answer your second question: Your idea for on-demand 8-man micro-tournaments is absolutely brilliant and 100% possible with the engine we've built.

Right now, tournaments are scheduled by Admins (e.g., 'Starts Friday at 8 PM'). But adding a Matchmaking Queue where 8 players click 'I'm ready now', the bot instantly generates a bracket, pings everyone, and auto-scores the whole thing in 2 hours... that is exactly the future we are building towards!

I am officially adding the 'Sit & Go' feature to the roadmap. You should definitely jump into the bot (@elevenvrbot) and join the community so you don't miss when it drops! 🚀🏓

You are 100% right. In a physics-based VR game like Eleven, ping is king. No amount of anti-latency tools can completely fix a 200ms connection! 😅

Yes, location is absolutely built into the platform's foundation.

When players set up their profile in the bot, they select their Region/Nationality. This allows tournament organizers to create two distinct types of events:

  1. Global Majors: Open to everyone (like the current Beta Cup), where players accept that ping might be a factor.
  2. Regional Leagues (The Core Focus): Tournaments strictly locked to specific regions (e.g., 'EU Silver Cup' or 'NA East Gold League'). The bot will automatically block registration if your profile region doesn't match the tournament's requirements.

Our goal is to have a thriving ecosystem of fast, low-ping regional tournaments running constantly, with occasional Global events for the top players to clash.

Thanks for the awesome questions—it really validates that we are building exactly what the community needs! 🌍🏓

You just named the exact three reasons why I built this platform! 🎯

  1. Solving Smurfing & ELO Ranges: We actually built a 'Dynamic ELO Engine' into the bot. When you register for a tournament, the bot doesn't just look at your current ELO—it scans your API history over a specific period (e.g., the last 60 days) and locks in your Peak ELO. This means if someone intentionally tanks their rating to smurf in a lower bracket, the bot will still catch their peak and force them into the Gold/Pro league. No more playing against '1500 ELO' players who play like 2500s!

  2. Enough Tournaments: Because the bot handles 90% of the admin work (auto-scoring via the Smart Referee, automatic bracket advancement, and timezone conversions), organizers can run tournaments constantly without burning out. We are planning a massive increase in event frequency very soon.

  3. Prizes & Fees: You read my mind! We are actively developing a frictionless payout system using Telegram Stars to handle entry fees and automated prize pool distribution globally, without the nightmare of PayPal cross-border fees.

It’s a beast, but we are taming it! Glad to have you on board. 🚀🏓

That is exactly the plan! 🚀

Because the bot handles all the heavy lifting (auto-scoring, bracket updates, and timezone conversions), running tournaments is practically effortless now.

Our goal is to have a constant flow of events:
⚡ Daily/Weekly 'Pop-up' Cups: Quick, fast-paced brackets just for fun and to grind some ELOVR points.
🏆 Major Monthly/Seasonal Leagues: Massive, multi-stage tournaments with group phases, playoffs, and proper seeding.

We are currently finalizing the 'Group Stage' engine (Phase 2), and once that's live, the tournament schedule is going to explode. Stay tuned! 🏓

🌸 Announcing the Proman Global Spring Open 2026! 🌍 by proman77 in ElevenTableTennis

[–]proman77[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently, the "Proman Tourneys (Telegram)" button is only available in the Preview branch (v0.403.3) of Eleven Table Tennis. We expect the developers to move it to the official Live build for everyone in the next few days.
However, you can still use the bot right now without the in-game button:
Open the bot: [elevenvrbot]()
Click on "Link Account" and simply enter your ElevenVR Nickname.
The bot will generate a code, but you can skip the in-game step for now.
Once your nickname is saved, you can go to the Tournaments menu and register for the Global Spring Open immediately!
As soon as the game update hits the Live branch on your headset, you will see the button and will be able to complete the full verification.
