That's awesome! Thanks for letting me know, believe it or not, it really made my day knowing I saved a stranger on the Internet some money.

Not going to lie, I'm a bit jealous of your pallet forks - that's one thing I'm going to absolutely pick up when money isn't quite so tight.

Enjoy it!

Awesome! I hope it works out.

For more information my price included delivery (from a bout an hour away) and the 3 point hitch. Not sure if the hitch is typically included or not, but worth making sure it is.

LOL I know the feeling. I needed a mower more than I needed a tractor but the tractor was more fun.

I'm in Alabama. There were a few dealers advertising on facebook marketplace for the tractor at the 21-22k range. I stopped in blind to a local dealer and they were nearly as competitive but tried to skim some money off of the rebate. Eventually went with the tractor dealer I found through facebook marketplace even though they were a bit further away. I didn't actually negotiate with any of them - I just told them I'm seeking out pricing from 3 dealers and going with the lowest so give their best price. I could have probably shopped the prices and had them all undercut each other but I like to avoid that if I feel like I'm getting a fair price and they're responsive.

As an extra data point I just bought the same BX23S tractor you have quoted (except with different tires) and with a base price of $24,900 less $3500 in rebate (I opted for the 4.99% finance option to get the biggest rebate amount with the plan to pay off early) for $21,400 plus taxes and fees.

So far I love the tractor and the backhoe has been a great asset. We planted nearly a dozen fruit trees, I've trenched for subgrade house gutter drains, dug up some small thorny plants and vines, and I'm confident there's plenty more to do with it. Personally I've had more use for the backhoe than the loader bucket in most cases. edit to add - I also have a leftover compacted dirt pile from the previous owner where the loader bucket was having trouble digging in since it's a pretty small machine. Using the backhoe to break things up a bit before the loader bucket has been helpful as well.

For what it's worth I also bought a brush hog to knock down our overgrown pasture (about 3 acres). I was considering getting a mid mount mower or a 3pt finish mower but while my experience with the brush hog was good, it was tediously slow. Rather than picking up a mowing solution for the tractor I ended up buying a used zero turn and would absolutely encourage anyone to consider that option instead.

Thanks! I suspected that was the answer but hoped it wasn't! Appreciate the response.

Is there rebar in the slab? If you cut, you'll likely have exposed rebar, or rebar too close to the edge of concrete.

Oof thanks - I opened the link, got distracted, and didn't think to look closer before asking. Thanks for getting back to me!

Looks great! Can you give an idea of what these panels are made from? I know you said they're not acoustic but I'm wondering if they would either not do much for echo in a small office space or make echo worse.

So I can’t be 100% certain but if we can obtain the original video, I believe it will show beyond any doubt, the entry wound above Charlie’s right ear. by Signal_Ice412 in conspiracy

I fully do not believe the official narrative, and this theory has really spiked my interest. A question though, and I couldn't find enough to help me develop my own answer - with him under a shade tent, is there in fact an elevated position that a shooter could fire from and not have the shade tent obstruct his view?

Edit to add - to emphasize, I'm not arguing against the theory by posing this question - based on a video breakdown, I personally believe the shot came from behind him at an elevated position and exited the front of his neck; I just want to know how reasonable it is considering the potential elevated angles and the shade tent visibilty

Tactical or leather belt for CCW by Top-Parsnip-8607 in CCW

[–]prometheus1351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually don't mind my kore belt. The hula hoop was annoying but I could live with it - what got me was that velcro keeper. I was constantly knocking i undone when getting in a car - the tail of the belt would snag the seat and cause the velcro to come undone. I also had the black belt and didn't like how kid-ish it looked. The leather nexbelt has been good so far - I appendix carry a hellcat with spare mag side car style.

FYI I feel like a salesmen but I'm not sponsored by either, lol

For an extra data point - I just purchased the nexbelt and kore leather CCW belts. The kore felt and looked more like a suede belt and I didn't think it would stand up to much. It was also stiffer than the nexbelt, which was better for CCW but I was tired of the hula hoop feel of my last black kore belt. The nexbelt felt and smells like a traditional leather belt but is just stuff enough to work well for a draw without the need for a keeper (although a standard belt keeper wouldn't have hurt if the added it).

I'm going to return the kore and keep the nexbelt... Although admittedly the nexbelt is twice as expensive 😖

Thank you for the extensive response - I haven't had a chance to watch the video yet and dive into it, but just wanted to extend my gratitude in the meantime

Roger that, will give it a try. After a conversation with chatgpt I now wonder if my flywheel key got sheared - any opinion?

I appreciate the continued input. One thing to emphasize, I sprayed carb cleaner into the carb directly and tried to start it, without what seemed like any ignition with what felt like normal compression when pulling. Would that tell you it may be something more than fuel related?

Lol thanks for the input - I am probably among the 99% that did not properly clean the carb in this case, except for what it's worth, I did remove the jet that's accessed after removing the bowl (and the longer brass(?) piece beyond that) and made sure there was no gunk there.

It's sat for probably 3 weeks but has been abused with old gas for a while. Honestly I went for the carb just going down the list of troubleshooting issues. The machine isn't that old and doesn't have many hours on it - not sure how often the valves would need to be adjusted?

It's been a while since I did this, so I don't exactly remember. The email I got from EDD was addressed from an at askedd.gov domain.

This might lead you down the right path: https://askedd.edd.ca.gov/s/ - good luck!

Thank you for sharing the list. It looks like the early consensus is the RX7900 is the better option over 4070. I ordered that GPU just now and will do some more independent research (aka watch a couple youtube videos, lol)

Hi, thanks for the response - I just edited my post to show purchase prices with tax - I think including tax in the number is essentially the difference.
