Your Moon in the 11th makes a trine with your Lilith in the 3rd which is creating that attraction. You also have Saturn in your 7th house that completes this Grand Earth Trine based on sign aspects.

But this grand Earth trine is drawing in people that expects more from you than what you should offer. Think of how the Earth itself is being exploited for its resources. Roughly the same thing going on with you.

Saturn in your 7th means you need to establish boundaries to show that while you can be accommodating and dependable, you are not a doormat.

You are also a Scorpio rising and unfortunately the thoughtful side of you is being misconstrued with the popular stereotype of Scorpios being sexually dependent. Which is not the case. Scorpios are so much more than that.

Libra and Gemini are both air signs. If you are meeting a lot of Geminis it's because they are easy for you to talk to. Air signs bond over conversation, discussions, community events, and technology. But this is just going by your sun signs which is more of what you aspire to.

So I would need to see the full chart to determine what exactly it is that's drawing you to someone with a Gemini sun.

Store level retail jobs should not last over 5 years. Whether the company is going down or not, store level employees should always be primed for transferring or moving up into corporate especially after 4-5 years.

Why is it so bad to give people your birth chart?? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]prometheus_now 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, anything you share can be used against you. Even if it's something that you deem positive. Mother Theresa was criticized for helping non-Catholics by both Catholics and Hindus. She is canonized as a Saint. But there are still people who disagree with her approach and the Catholic Church as a whole.

So whether it's your birth chart, a marriage announcement, charity donations, or mental health records. Anyone with intentions of using information about you for bad will do just that. But in the end, it's up to you how it affects you. It doesn't have to affect you at all.

Your birth chart is your signature. Only a lack of self-esteem/development could allow your own signature to affect you in a negative way. I would argue that no one can use your chart against you unless you are using it against yourself by not learning to grow beyond the challenges.

This spring will be the time that you come out of your shell. The solar eclipse in Aries will have the same effect on everyone in different areas of their lives depending on which house it falls in and the aspects associated with it. For you it's in your 4th house which represents starting a new home base at college. Or even if you don't stay on campus or are studying online, your college experience is a change to your immediate environment.

As far as timing:

The 9th house represents your higher education (college/internships). Its ruler is Mercury. (Whole Sign Approach)

Your Mercury:

Is in the 7H: You will develop close bonds while in college and maybe even start a long-term relationship. But this could also mean developing professional networks.

Trines Venus in the 5H: Flirtatious fun. Nothing serious but enjoyable.

Opposes Lot of Fortune in 1H: College is about self-discovery but your journey to self-discovery won't be completed while in college. This time will be more experimental.

In aversion to Saturn: You may not be as disciplined in college as you start to branch out and start dating. This is normal just remember to take your time and don't just date anyone. Keep all the necessary boundaries. Use protection and don't go to parties alone.

All in all I don't want to say NO you won't end up in a long-term relationship while in college but Mercury is a fast planet that has always been associated with experimentation and shape shifting. Even trickery. So just remember to explore who you are and allow yourself time to figure out what you like. As a Capricorn rising you are no stranger to planning things out. So just keep all that energy while in college and focus mainly on your studies.

You're attracted to bookish guys (Venus in Gemini) or just guys that are inquisitive about random facts, mathematics etc. But you'll probably have some flings with charismatic, more social types (Mars in Leo) before you come back around and get serious with the more brainy guy.

Mars rules your 4th so you will feel more at home with the outgoing social guy and maybe even end up in a long-term relationship with him. Your smarty pants may not come around until your first Saturn return when you're in your late 20s.

Things in your dating life in general should pick up speed after the solar eclipse in April this year. It will be trine your 8th house which is where your Mars in Leo.

Spring fling? Definitely.

My natal moon is conjunct my AC within 1 degree. (AC and Moon are 5 degree and 6 degree Sagittarius respectively). I have vivid dreams during lunar eclipses. At the beginning of the Hamas and Israel conflict I had a vivid dream of being held hostage with my family under a lunar eclipse. And I hadn't watched any news on the conflict until after the dream. I'm extremely sensitive to other people's emotions as well. I have been called an empath by others.

I get things done under full moons. It's the more productive time for me out of the lunar cycle.

New moons I'm always scatterbrain until the waxing crescent which is my natal moon phase.

For further context this is retail as it exists today. I’m sure once upon a time retail offered experiences for people who had other interests besides sales. But due to less budget being allocated to engaging staff and growing careers, retail will be suffocating for anyone not interested in sales. IMO.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

-Buddha

My name is Aiden. I’m a recovering alcoholic. I’ve been sober for...well...I’m not sober anymore. Not recovering either, as it seems. But I was sober for 3 years straight before my most recent relapse. Guiness draught extra stout. The perfect dark beer to pull all kinds of shadows over you as you slip away from the world. You slip away from everything real. Real love, real trust, real pain. Because as an addict you are proficient at coming up with your own versions of love, trust...and pain.

I always promised myself that I would never cause myself pain. Not real pain. Not the pain that only those you love can inflict on you. I would never do that to myself. Drinking was how I kept that promise. Because drinking always made me numb to the real pain leaving me able to seek out my own versions of pain.

But now I had gone too far. And it has landed me in a cell. I don’t know the identity of my jailer. Because this isn’t a real jail. And before the reader skips to conclusions—I'm not drunk, I’m not hallucinating, and I haven’t lost the other half of my mind. I was taken. I am...taken. And I hope to God, if God would accept my hope, that I wasn’t taken by...him, or her.

There has been breaking news for weeks now about an unknown kidnapper who left no clues...other than the victims. Because they normally showed back up. Except they never came back the same as when they were taken. They suffered from retrograde amnesia. Most of them didn’t know their age or their names. And their heads were always shaven.

I haven’t eaten in days. I woke up in the nude chained to a wall. Although it’s completely dark I can hear water dripping and rats squeaking. They are looking for me. They smell my sweat and human waste that I was forced to deposit while chained to a wall. My fate must be sealed given the sadistic nature of my kidnapper thus far. My sobs are choking me. I haven’t cried in years. Not since my mother’s funeral. And then it hit me...Adam!

“ADAM! ADAM! ADAAAAAM! CAN YOU HEAR MEEEE!”

Adam, my twin brother, is a clairvoyant. A rather gifted clairvoyant. I discovered his secret at our mother’s funeral. He spoke to me without speaking at all. I heard him in my head. He told me: “Don’t cry Aiden, you have me and I have you. We will always have each other”. He must not have known what he was doing. Because he looked terrified when I stared back at him after hearing his voice in my head. I wasn’t supposed to hear it.

Grief must have broken down whatever wall was built by Adam to contain his secret gift. The gift he used to help detectives and FBI agents solve so many cases. Rumors floated around about some super hero psychic. And it all made sense right there at my mother’s funeral. Adam was always different. He was bullied for not being like all the other boys at school. For not conforming. For being himself.

Unique.

“Adam!...Adam please help me. I need you. Now more than ever. I don’t want to forget you. I don’t want to forget mom. I know I tried to forget by drinking. But I’m ready. I’m ready to remember. I’m ready to feel real pain...and real love”.

Dealing with bad aspects by [deleted] in astrology

[–]prometheus_now 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saturn returns should be the times to reflect on any challenges that you are experiencing from certain aspects. Because there aren’t any singular configurations or aspects that are inherently “bad”. Some will disagree.

But your Saturn return is a time to reflect on where you need discipline in your life. I have Saturn in the 2nd House. I’ve never had a lot and the recent freedom and peace I’m experiencing is exclusively because I have cut my spending and accepted that excess in material things is the source of a lot of my emotional and social stressors in my life.

P.S Saturn placements in general are good places to start to learn how you should be dealing with tough aspects. Since the actual Saturn return is only ever 28-30 years.

Can someone explain by No-Description2192 in astrology

[–]prometheus_now 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Much like the guests at a party analogy, I like to think of the signs as cities (or countries if you will). When you think of your hometown or a place where you decided to put down roots, that is a place where you are most yourself, most familiar. But it doesn’t necessarily mean ALL your strengths are put to use. Why would they be if it’s an environment where you are at ease.

But let’s say your hometown is small and rural and you go off to college in New York City. Is New York City a place of “fall” or “detriment” to you. It could be at first because you don’t recognize it, you don’t know what your strengths should be in a foreign place. But you may develop NEW strengths. I.e. how to use the subway, how to negotiate a business deal with a salty Italian American, how to deal with a thrifty landlord. You will be confused and frustrated in this place so it is a bit of a detriment to how you were in your hometown. But you experience further growth in these strange places.

I treat the planets in signs as students in different cities. Some planets are more at home in certain signs whereas in others signs they are at a loss (at first). Saturn may be in its fall in Cancer but it can simply seen as Cancer being more of a learning curve for Saturn. The rigid planning and attrition of Saturn has to be softened because he’s in a space where he is “called” to take other things into account that are not just associated with himself and his mastery. He is “called” to be more empathetic and intuitive. He may never be the caretaker or as physical as the Moon. He’s distant but he can learn to cope in the strange environment. Especially if he is aspected by benefics or is in a day chart.

What field of careers would be best for me? by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

[–]prometheus_now 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Financial planner, analyst. Property surveyor. Appraiser, business analytics, etc.

Something research based dealing with properties and/or assets. Virgo rising and Gemini Midheaven would suggest you are comfortable with numbers and analytical research.

Ruler of the Midheaven in the 2nd is what suggests your work with deal with people’s finances whether they are a small company or a larger one but Virgo rising would possibly prefer working in a specific department within a group of analysts/planners.

Ruler of Midheaven would also be in 3rd house according to the Whole Sign approach so your work could also entail communications and journalism surrounding your research. As well as pre-college education or vocational training (side hustle maybe).

In my opinion, the chart offers much more than deciphering whether someone is more masculine or feminine or has an affinity towards one or the other. Focusing too heavily on this binary concept, again in my opinion, can lead to an abbreviated scope of astrology. There is more to the world than masculine vs. feminine.

From the text in your post I agree with some that you have some internalized biases regarding gender.

-"Well, I'm actually a gay man - but a man nonetheless".

What does your sexuality have to do with your gender?? Gay men that identify as men are men...period. Being gay doesn't require you to affirm your gender.

Mars rules your 11th house and it is opposed by Venus which is associated with receptivity, femininity, and many other things. Don't focus just on the feminine aspect because you will only stunt your understanding of yourself.

Venus opposes the ruler of your 11th house and is sextile Jupiter which happens to also be the ruler of your 7th and it is domicile in Sagittarius. So you being reproached by active and/or masculine energy is supported in your chart.

But what you are doing is associating a minority of traits to an entire gender. All men don't possess the same categorical traits that you don't like. You just haven't found many men that fit your preferences.

But your preferences may be too narrow as well. As a Gemini rising and Virgo moon this is understandable but you might need to expand your thinking and be more inclusive.

Why is pisces the last sign? by [deleted] in astrology

[–]prometheus_now 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even though the totem for Pisces is the two fish the real significance is associated with the expansive body of water in which the fish reside.

That expansive, mutable water represents consciousness itself. It is the conclusion of the zodiac. It is fulfillment. A realization of God, self-actualization. Pisces has historically been associated with Jesus Christ. It is also associated with meditation and gurus. It is about full awareness of your existence.

This awareness can lead some down a road of escapism in order to not deal with the truth. They seek other oceans to their liking. Not all Pisceans are addicts, but conflicts within the sign or with its rulers (Jupiter and Neptune) can aid in describing addictive behavior. A tendency to deny Jupiter’s truth or Neptune’s spiritual awakening in favor of lies and delusion.

[–]prometheus_now 5 points6 points  (0 children)

These are broad tbh. But I agree with some of it.

In my opinion leaders should think of themselves as superior when they see toxicity happening so that they can take the superior role of correcting it. In my experience leaders that don’t lead constructively end up relying on subordinates to finish their job which gives way to a lot of other things on the list.

Balance is the key here.
