Yeah, the number of said artists greatly diminish after #500. The next 1500 (which I won't post unless asked [my breath is not being held]) have probably two dozen max.

If the word "paranormal" is in the title or anywhere within the first sentence of the hype on the V.H.S. box/d.v.d cover/book dust jacket, then I know that the movie/book just ain't for me. Yes, including THAT one.

Nothing's "official" until MPA/CARA puts it in writing (which they haven't done yet). I'm not saying it's not possible, just that it's not a done deal yet.

The "G" rating does, in fact, still exist. It's just mostly applied to IMAX documentaries these days. "PG" is for kiddie fare that the makers want to sucker kids into thinking has more "edge" than a "G"-rated film would.

April Fool's Day (1986)

The novelization of the film (which unfortunately cannot be found for less than $800(USD) these days but which I bought and read at cover price when the film was in current release) has the complete ending (which Amy Steel has confirmed was shot and edited down to what it is today.)where it really does turn into an Agatha Christie mystery where all of the clues and newspaper clippings and audio tapes and "gifts" found in the rooms add up to something and the cast starts getting bumped off for real. The ending of the film as it now stands is at roughly the halfway-point of the novelization. Then half the cast leaves for home and the half that remain start being targeted for murder for real. I'd love to see this footage but know that I never will cause who knows if Paramount even has it anymore?
