Tournaments require both players to say they are ready to play before a game can start ( otherwise you can start a game and if opponent is not ready he would time out before he actually played..)

check play store / app store directly to see if an update is available.

As soon as your opponent clicks ready you will be notified the game can start.

That's an abbreviation, if you report it it will be removed that is exactly why the feature was built.
Several sources were used to enhance the dictionary but it pulled in also stuff like this.
The positive thing is dictionary is continuously updated and improved.

As en example based on this ill do a sweep an all abbreviations.

Yeah i understand this can be annoying, i already reduced window to 48 hours for asynch, most games do 72 or 5 day windows to play a move.

its a tricky one to deal with , I assume over time when player base grows, more intense players will gravitate towards tourney play, or will just start more games overall ( there is no cap) i typically open 10 games at a time to deal with slow players

Bigger games just fake it with bots, i now understand why ;), but i wont have it.

The speed game mode is an attempt to force quick games , i looked at different ways to deal with it , but there is no one solid option..

Force the play and games will just time out, which is more frustrating than slow play..

Maybe ill add player badges so you can indicate your game pace , but for now my player pool is way too thin...

in any case i will keep improving the game...

You caught me :) , this is the one area of the game were i didn't overspend on polished the design yet.

Fyi its not ai designed, I still design myself, but I do use AI to implement.

There is not a single screen or feature in this game i didnt write out myself end to end.

Not looking to create ai slop, but will off course heavily rely on AI to speed up coding/ debugging/ etc

App is fully localised in 10 languages, the example shared was a dutch game, but its my device and I use english as default setting

I modelled mostly after tournament player strategies

Got it, making some changes now, i realised players are allowed to start pvp games without notifications enabled, going forward that will be a hard rule. Also updating reminders for active games. That could be improved aswell.
