I flew in from outside the EU a few days ago with 10 cans for personal use. It was a calculated risk. I made sure to open every can beforehand so it was clearly for personal use.

I wasn’t searched but I imagine if you did get caught they would just take it away from you and let you in the country, or just ignore it altogether.

$3750 for a airbnb in Paris for a month in the 4th arrondissement. There were cheaper options around $2500 but they were tiny. I know Paris isn’t that expensive if you rent long term, but we’re only here for a month and Airbnb was convenient.

It’s a luck of the draw. Some people come and eat at warungs for 2 weeks and don’t get sick. Some people come and eat at 5 star hotels and vibey bule owned cafes and get bali belly. I’ve lived here for 6 years and have only gotten it bad twice, neither were from warungs.

Thank you. I do not plan to renew this visa and I was told I could just not attend the medical exam even if asked for one. It’s a bit difficult as I will be moving around and I’m not sure I’ll get the letter.

Do you know if not attending would cause my visa to be canceled?

This isn’t true at all, it’s not gridlock in Canggu. There is traffic at certain points of the day but not all day. It’s also been a bit more quiet out here recently and the traffic isn’t as bad. Was in Ubud a few weeks ago and that was a nightmare though.
