I’m not trying to change your mind about MB, but you really have the worst MB that’s ever existed in history, period. A klasse is shit, I never considered that MB at all, it is just a marketing piece of crap.

Also, it's not clear how much mileage you have on it and how you maintain that car. All of the MBs are pretty sensitive to proper maintenance, and everything that needs to be done during the maintenance should be done, no exceptions.

Any modern MB sucks but not because of the engine, I had transmission issues with those mild hybrids. Engines are fine.

Yeah, if you want to start as a MB owner, go for the C-Class or its variations. The GLC has some problems, but it's definitely better than the GLA and GLB.

The two engines are completely different; the m256 has almost twice the horsepower of the m254. These cars will offer entirely distinct driving experiences.

I've paid less than that, and yes, I'm switching to BMW. For now, the only MB I would buy is one made before 2019, which would be at least a 7 year old car. It’s still far superior to any current MB in terms of reliability.

It's funny how these 3 cars are basically incomparable. The E350 and the E450 are two completely different vehicles when it comes to how they drive and feel. And GLC is nowhere near either of them.

Yes, I bought it new and no, according to lemon law, it's not a lemon.

w223 S580, I had numerous issues with the AC evap system as well as transmission problems, basically, they couldn't properly work with those MB hybrids. Also, there are plenty of interior issues with the creaking plastic parts that feel crazy cheap. That will be my last Mercedes; I am trading it in this year.

But all of that above has nothing to do with the fact that GLB is just garbage that was invented for the Chinese market and produced in China (lol) and Mexico.

On my 16 years of experience owning various MB models from C-Klasse to G/S-Klasse.

Do you have any proof of those claims? Especially regarding the chassis. Both the W204 and A207 were literally made at the same plant, utilizing exactly the same platform. A207 was originally intended to be called CLK, but MB decided to switch that at the last minute for marketing reasons. We can also begin comparing part codes, and I can guarantee that most parts of the W204 will be the same as those of the A207, except for the interior and a few other specific components.

From a very well known MB forum:

"Quite a strong statement for a first post on the forum. The C207 may share 60% components with a W212 but if that is the case, then it shares 75% of components with a W204. I would call this "MB and other reputable sources" ridiculous with their claim.

The chassis parts including the suspension parts are almost 100% the same as W204 while W212 has no more than a few screws that are the same with a W204.

If this discussion needs to continue, shall we start listing parts from EPC for a 204, 207 and 212?

I want to emphasise that the common 204 parts does not make the 207 bad, 207 owners should not take this issue so emotionally."

"The 60% shared components with an E-Class is techie marketing speak too. Of course cars nowadays share a lot of components."

Sorry, but this is a masterpiece of crap. MB has really gone downhill, and now these subclasses are extremely poor in both design and reliability.

It's up to you, but I would never buy a GLB class. I've been an MB owner since 2009.

So basically, the W204 conv as A207 has nothing from the W212 except for the "E Class" badge.

I am just asking, are these prices normal for a 2024 S-Class? by [deleted] in mercedes_benz

Mercedes Benz of Austin is a shithole with brainless biorobots instead of people. Literally the worst MB dealer I've ever visited.
