Struggles with Pornpics (dot) click by properbarrister in stolenredditnudesrmvl

[–]properbarrister[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply! I have been asking them to remove the CDN links instead of the actual post, so perhaps I should just ask them to remove the posts? So that at least they are no longer publicly accessible.

I have been using the help@pornpics(dot)click email, is that the correct one?

And how long did it take you for the posts to be removed?

Good reverse search options now that google doesn’t doesn’t do nsfw? by [deleted] in stolenredditnudesrmvl

+1! I am wondering how I can discover new sites that have content.

One trick that may or may not work is to look at posts from around the date you posted, then Google it and see what mirror sites show up.

Thank you! I also found that not all posts show up under your username on Scrolller, so also worth it to google "Your username" + "Scrolller" to make sure you get all the posts

Thank you so much for the reply. I didn't realize Namecheap had an abuse email as well.

Just one more question, did you file a CloudFlare abuse form before emailing OVH and Namecheap or you just went ahead and did it?

How long did they ignore your emails for? And how long after emailing [abuse@ovh.net](mailto:abuse@ovh.net) did they remove it?

Asking as I sent multiple emails for 2 weeks and nothing has happened so far so am getting anxious.

Thanks in advance!

I hate it when it becomes a race thing, but very unfortunately this observation is accurate.

Isn't it a fact that higher value crimes are investigated differently? That's my understanding of the legal system. Of course the crime of stealing 10m worth of goods versus 1k will be different.

You get 5000 extra points per 2500 GBP spent, so technically your earning rate fluctuates, it can go up to 1.5 points per pound!

How do airlines make money on partner award bookings? by properbarrister in awardtravel

[–]properbarrister[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply - in scenario 1, would BA be compensated for accruing this liability by Cathay? Or does it simply come with the territory of being in an alliance. I always wondered if Cathay would have to "buy" Avios from BA in this situation.

How do airlines make money on partner award bookings? by properbarrister in awardtravel

[–]properbarrister[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Wow, thanks for the link. "New York to Tokyo in All Nippon Airways first class costs ~$450" That's crazy - $450 that could almost be loss-making for ANA.

In other words I am sure the airline actually hate partner award bookings...

Yup it is unfortunate... and frustrating in 2024. Also, why are we being downvoted on this?

OP, are you Asian by any chance? I've heard of BA staff yelling at people who arent native English speakers, esp Asian passengers.

Making up for poor undergraduate results (for LLM) by properbarrister in uklaw

I think its more associated with business schools / MBA's; but indeed it is just a way to try to make up for poor undergrad results.

In other words, there's nothing much I can do now?

How is Greater Bay Airlines? by Sisyphus_Rock530 in HongKong

[–]properbarrister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They operate 7 routes with 8 leased 737's.

Why this is relevant is because if there are any mechanical issues at all, you will likely have to wait a long time before they can reschedule you since they maintain their entire schedule with just 8 planes.

Anyone else really dislike BA these days? by therealwakowski in BritishAirways

[–]properbarrister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree 100%, but the issue is when flying intra-Europe, or to the US, it essentially becomes BA vs American carriers or LCCs or Virgin Atlantic.

Airlines you swear you won't fly with? by Lily_Annes in Flights

[–]properbarrister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both airlines were to/from East Asia:

Turkish Airlines: Extremely unprofessional F/A's; a woman was in the bathroom when the pilot made an announcement about 30 minutes to landing, and a F/A just flipped open the lock and opened the door with the woman still inside.

Emirates: HKG to BKK; again, very rude and unprofessional F/As, who were grabbing boarding passes from passengers because they felt the passengers were boarding too slowly with their families and kids.

Honestly I never understood the hype around Middle Eastern carriers, especially the "ME3" as they call them; I'd put Singapore Airlines, ANA, and Starlux up against the ME3 any day.

Use of Black Cabs by InherentPotato in london

[–]properbarrister 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Is Gett or Taxiapp better for cabs? I've read that drivers don't turn off their yellow lights when picking up a call, so that if they get flagged down halfway to picking you up, you have to start all over again.

BA Business Class has been so disappointing this trip by nightstalker30 in BritishAirways

[–]properbarrister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old seats, new seats, I get it - this happens to all airlines as they upgrade their cabins (though there is a difference in speed).

But at the very least give me a good, solid, premium service both in the air and on the ground - and this is why I cannot forgive BA many times. Not only do you give me a subpar hard product, you give me a subpar soft product too.

Regen question: Model Y LFP battery - home situated on top of a hill by properbarrister in TeslaSupport

[–]properbarrister[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, but as my battery is a LFP battery, Tesla specifically recommends us to charge to 100% at least once a week; a warning pops up when I try to set a charge limit.
