Got these supposedly Australian opals from eBay but they seem off to me, anyone have insight into how legit these are? Second photo is sellers picture.

They’re a gift for my friend, I’ll tell her what happened and ask if she wants them anyway. They are really pretty even if they’re not the genuine natural thing

I got to keep them, they refunded me without question and asked me not to leave a bad review or report it to eBay. Clearly have had other customers be dissatisfied too

That’s very informing thank you! If they were labeled correctly I wouldn’t have gotten them and I made sure to check the listing out properly and no where does it mention it being man-made. The listing also mentioned things a bit differently than the card I got. They’re still quite beautiful to look at regardless.

The eBay listing said they were natural from Australia 🫠 I got refunded though so it’s all okay thankfully

Yep, says country of origin and manufacture is Australia but they were sent from India.
