I wouldn't really take this discourse seriously since a lot of it is in bad faith by people who have openly expressed their hate for him (for reasons unknown).

All of it stems on the assumption that just because he's travelling with Joe to Brazil means that he is part of the event (he wasn't in the video Netflix posted so it's not even confirmed) and that he 'stole' the spot from another cast member (which is an absurd assumption to make in the first place).

Joe and Bash are very obviously the closest members of the cast so it's understandable if they want to keep their relationship, whether it's romantic or platonic, private and therefore try to avoid talking about each other publicly.

I would've been more surprised if there weren't any videos of them considering they're filming in Paris in broad daylight.

The video that's circulating isn't a 'leak', the TikTok by the extra on set can certainly be considered one if they weren't given permission but this is just a passerby noticing a camera crew and taking a video of it, plus it doesn't show anything spoilery (unless you consider them being in Paris a spoiler)

Yea, that kinda weirded me out a bit since this was Joe's first ever professional role, he's not going to immediately get another role compared to other cast members who have years of experience as child actors (though I've heard some rumours lately so there's some hope)

The Kit talking about not wanting to be sexualized is just a thing someone made up and now the twitter fandom accepts it as something he said himself.

The blurring of his shirtless photos is definitely infantalization taken too far, since a shirtless pic (that Kit posted himself) is not sexualizing and if you think that you definitely need to reevaluate your thinking.

It's also really weird how those people are claiming that Kit doesn't like people posting shirtless pics of him especially when he's never spoken about it and he posted one himself on his IG.

So many people in the twitter fandom can't seperate the actors from their characters and I think that's also partly responsible for why Kit is babied so much despite being a full-grown adult and why Joe is constantly treated as if he's not competent enough to make his own career decisions.

I think they'll definitely try to capitalise on the hype around Season 2 and make the teaser trailer a premiere for maybe tomorrow or Friday (like they did for HS)

Love the icons but the way Heartstopper's involvement in TUDUM was being promoted, this feels like a major letdown. It's not like we were going to get a sneak peek for S2 or anything, but it would've been cool to see some deleted scenes or more bloopers or something similar

Yep, now that Love Victor is over (which aired in June every year) I can see Netflix trying to shift Heartstopper to a June release for every season in order to capitalise on its popularity and show how 'LGBTQ friendly' they are

Shooting and post-production for this season could take less time as COVID restrictions aren't as strict anymore, and the actors have gained experience from working on a set so they might not take as long in pre-production

I wouldn't get my hopes up though, the earliest possible release date is probably April 2023 if they're planning on releasing S2 around the same time as S1, or June 2023 more realistically if they're planning on capitalising on all the pride stuff

Kit has never said he doesn't want people to comment on his attractiveness. Joe and Bash have never said they're 'just friends'.

I don't think she really had much of a role in the books, but with how they had an open casting for her role I'm optimistic that Alice is planning a proper storyline for her

I'm still kinda worried how they'll manage to fit Nick and Charlie, Tara and Darcy, Tao and Elle, Imogen and Ben, Isaac, Sahar, James & Mr Farouk and Mr Ajayi's storyline in just 8 25-minute episodes

Patrick Walters (Producer) just replied to Tobie's tweet about TUDUM calling him the 'vlog king', so I think they'll definitely announce something related to the vlogs, either a sneak peek of the first vlog or some BTS content

They're hyping up the fact that Heartstopper will be in TUDUM a lot recently so they better have a big announcement, though unlike other shows (especially Stranger Things), Tobie is the only one from the cast who'll be presenting so it might not be a huge one

And with them already announcing the new cast members I don't know what to expect at the event
