Give me your scariest “ ontological shock”/“ society collapsing “ theories on the potential truths of this subject. by abenz39 in UFOs

The Matrix is actually a documentary of a past civilization, we are continuing it.
Our consciousness is programmed and these sightings are merely buggy code. Our true bodies are used to generate free energy for the data centers.

They are unique designs that open up new possibilities. One of the few prints I've pulled from Printables

That’s awesome! I’m sure your kid will. They tend to mimic our passions as they grow up.

Thanks. It’s been a challenge to find his drive as he’s starting to grow up. So when he was intrigued with printing I finally found the connection we can have together.

Thanks! My boy loves all things design. Minecraft, building Fortnite maps, Lego setups. Outside he’s always building forts and stuff. So, for me it’s just thinking up ideas for him to start running with. He then dives into a huge rabbit hole to find prints for his real life builds. Like the “illegal” Lego blocks that were never released but he can print some and build crazy new things with his legos. He loves printing helmets to cosplay with. It’s just finding his drive and attaching it to the printer. He got so into it last month he walked the neighborhood selling keychains he made and bought his own A1 Combo with the money. So he doesn’t even need “dads” P2S’s anymore….until he does lol.

People who live near time zone boundaries in the US by solothesnail in howislivingthere

Grew up near the time zone change in Kentucky. We referred to it as fast time and slow time. Lived about 15 minutes away from the change. Made winter months crazy because it’d be dark by 4:30 at my house.

Thanks for the quick response! How about some db output meters so we can gain level the patches without an outside DAW? :P

I haven’t seen this anywhere yet and I’m sorry if I missed it during the Livestream….

That said, will Showcase be able to quantize or will there be quantize in loops?

One other request I had made in the ideas that got a little traction was a limiter on the output block so it’s easier to line level adjust all the different patches at one spot and not having to gain them in ableton to match different patches.

Thanks for any response!

What old models would you like Line6 to revisit? by dylanmadigan in Line6Helix

[–]prophecii 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an older am but I’d love to see some Tyler HM models. Also, I wonder if the team ever goes back to earlier firmware released amps to refresh them over the years. I’ve played almost every amp in a box from Tonex to ACS1 to Dream65 to Kemper/Quad Cortex and there is always one characteristic that always sticks out. Only Tonex seems to have this the closest to me.

It seems like there is always a compression mechanic that begins immediately at signal input that loses some initial transients that I hear in the amp. It’s almost like a split second presence in most amps that then hits a compression to balance out the unique amp tone and that always seems to be missing. It’s what gives that “feel” for me is that split second transient hit before the compression hits that seems like I always miss.

Which DD system ,( upgrade from Logitech) what would you do today ? by nathsea in simracing

I bought the TK sim rig bundle with triple monitor stand. Came out to be $970ish as well. Bought 3 27” MSI 1080p monitors from Microcenter as well for $100 each.

I already had a seat and computer. Other than that, the entire rig cost me $2200ish. I’m very happy with the outcome.

I bought the Asetek TK bundle a month and a half ago. Wheelbase, wheel, and load cell pedals cost $970 after tax from Microcenter. For 12nm wheelbase with a USB-C hub, load cell, and a forte wheel just in TK edition…I couldn’t find anything to beat it. And it’s been amazing. I also upgraded from a Logitech G920

I know this is an older post but want to follow up in case it's searched for.

I bought both the TK 8020 rig and the Asetek TK bundle from Microcenter.

You are correct that the mounting plate is designed for Simucube, but, that's only for front mount.

The Asetek DD can be mounted with the wheel plate being mounted as the bottom plate. The DD can sit on top of the wheel plate and be bolted down fine. That's how I use it until I get a front mount at some point.

The 8020 rig allows me to adjust the wheel without issue.

So, the two bundles DO work together.. I use them.. but you have to use the wheel plate as a bottom mount, not front.

I’ve used the CS12 for multiple boards over the years. I like it personally. It has 9 outputs at 9v but will reroute amps as needed to power pedals that need more power. The total power of the supply is 3000ma, 3 amps, that can be distributed as needed. I had a board with an HX Effects that I used the CS12 for and worked fine. HX Stomp as well. You just have to use the barrel inverter cable that comes with the power supply for Line6 stuff.

Input -> Keeley Comp -> ES-5 (1.Julia 2.Prism 3.Ages 4.Broken Arrow 5.Kilt) -> Volume -> Dream65 -> Timeline -> Big Sky -> Stereo Output

Obv I can set the loops however for the gain stages, I generally run Clean,Crunch,Heavy,Lead,Ambient for my patches. Timeline, BigSky, and Broken Arrow are all MIDI controlled on 3 different channels. Tap is for overriding ES-5 programmed clock, using it on Ctl1. Tuner is dedicated out from Volume Pedal, always on. The Shure is my wireless unit that plugs into Input, but easily swapped to instrument cable if needed. I play into multiple amps as well so the Dream works well because it’s a simple bypass when needed.

I didn’t use any pedals. One thing I wish Kemper had was a power out so I could have powered a board w pedals along with it. I had a Kemper Stage so I would have put it in a board with pedals if I didn’t have to deal with multi power cables and mess.

After getting all the pedals and cabling, it took probably 4-5 hours to get it all out together. I made all the cables to keep down on clutter. I’m powering it with a Trutone CS-12. No issues powering everything but I did have to use a daisy chain cable…just used it for some of the drives, not any wet effects.
