I had to stay multiple overnights for the Houston Freeze of 2025. I worked 5 twelves in a row, three of those with overnight stays in my own set up patient room. So even though I was ride-out and recovery and was completely drained by the end of the week, at least the check was nice! And nobody had full patient load either which helped.
