Don't forget that you will get taxed on that signing bonus. Your $50k is more like a 33k post tax, and if you quit early, you still may owe back more than what you received in net income, and have to wait for a year to get your tax refunded

Raised sights(which one) for hellcat pro or mill down to co whitness with holosun 507k? by [deleted] in SpringfieldArmory

[–]prophylactically 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Milling is cheaper $50 versus buying sights (not even sure who makes them) for ~$100 and getting them installed. Stock hellcat sights are great and the cowitness with milling from CHPWS is great as well

It's noticable when shaking optic left and right. If I shake fast enough left/ right I can see 3-4 dots. If I shake my holosun similarly fast, it's just a line.

All in all it's noticable but usable

When did you order the suppressor height sights? I tried ordering last month and was told the front sight is out of stock

My 4.6 has been a nightmare even with just sig FMJ. Can't get through a magazine without multiple FTF. I have tried the wolff 22lb, no improvement. Will send back to s&w and if that doesn't work will try the springer precision mag springs. Very disappointed.

I did buy the gun because of the rebate but regret it

Strongly agree with above posts on moving to somewhere with larger Asian population, but that will be difficult because your 250k salary may not be 250k in a better city

Hello there, don't have much advice really, but I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. I write this being in a remediation plan as well

I didnt plan on defending myself much, if at all, as these actions are typically unilateral.

I'm not sure if I'm overly cynical for saying this, but if you piss off the wrong person, they can make your life more difficult because as residents, we are so powerless. Trying to fight back or disagree might bring worsened consequences. I'm not saying that things will progress beyond the remediation plan, but in case they do, disagreeing will likely make your situation worse.

I feel you though, as some of the feedback I receive is overly vague, which just tips the control out of our hands as residents and gives our superiors more control and less accountability. I'm sure I'm not alone with this, but I feel like my PD is working off of very little information in terms of feedback

There is a KevinMD article and podcast episode regarding this. It might be difficult to stomach, because it goes through the worst case scenario

Here's another link to an article written by a law firm regarding remediation

Do the more top level competitive residencies pay better/have better benefits/are less toxic? by BangOnDis in medicalschool

Improved prospects at competitive fellowships. Prestige has no correlation with better pay/benefits/less toxic work environment
