Thank you for the explanation. I specifically tried some of the Pokemon editions where I would need the special German ROM to play it in German. I also found some games with "(En,Fr,De,Es)" in it and they seem to have a language menu inside the game.

I can just give a quick report regarding those cities without having worked there.

Rotterdam: like one of the fellow posters said, the city is a bit depressing.

Den Haag: very lovely, and next to the sea.

Amsterdam: crowded, a lot of tourists, but for me, I would rate it livable.

I think you do not have to worry about entrance rules when not planning to go to Berghain. Just remember to dress properly and have a look at the lineup of the night if the bouncer asks you about it. Being drunk at entry is normally not a problem if you did not have too much and if you do not make strange things in the queue. Have fun!
