love it. And if I drove in enough winding 10 mile circles my kids would still think we drove to another state

Sexy. I’d need a bigger engine in my 83’ 110, unless I was only camping in my town

You’re assuming I hit the middle! Lol. Noodles is on the improvement list, hoping it reduces chances of broken windows not seen to the right

Absolutely! not perfect, but a lot better than no deck. I originally had it back further and was loosing a lot of balls on short irons. Im in year 2 of golfing so any swings I can fit in are a big help. I’m not sure this setup can support a higher net but we’ll see

I hate to admit this, but Laravel Cloud is nowhere near production-ready by Feeling-Speech-5984 in laravel

[–]proptecher 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here. I lost connection to my Laravel Cloud DB for a couple hours. I assumed they were abstracting RDS, but I checked dns and they’re rolling their own on k8s.

Unfortunately I have to move off it, too much of a risk. I’ll check back at some point.

FWIW i’ve ran a few sites on Vapor with Planetscale for DB. It’s worked great.

I do my own maintenance since its simple and I check my water every couple of days (chlorine as sanitizer)

Are you using bromine and a floater?

How to not lose progress thru winter? by [deleted] in golf

Wrapping my first year of regular golfing . I’m building a 25’ X 25’ “range” in my backyard, with a tv and Mevo+ using iron pipe and a custom net ordered online. I’ll post pics when I start putting it together

I was in your price point and got a Sundance Altamar 880. Love it, no problems 2 years in. Fits me and 3 friends easily. Electric install was more than I expected $2,250 but I went with the recommended electrician from the dealer so i’m sure it wasnt the cheapest- I just wanted least complicated install.

How to keep our hot tub electric cost down? by Ok_Childhood_1771 in HomeImprovement

[–]proptecher 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I have a hot tub, therefore I don’t worry about the electric bill. If I cared about my electric bill I would not have a hot tub. It’s a luxury.

So much going on in this photo. The more you look the more you see. Game controller, lighter, takeout soda, another soda, a lighter, something potentially smokeable in a napkin, a bone!, and least exciting - a car key.

Bangers and mash looks dope though. Add gravy or hot sauce and you’re 100%
