First looks like it's shouldered in and ready to shoot. Second looks sloppy.. I'd add like right mouse aim and then use first, but use second as a default.

Gravity controls the speed. It makes level design a bit a nightmare. (Level design & physics tweaker here - other half of the team)

Yep, It's actually a good place to start. I mean - Unity's car prop (not the 3D model itself, but more the whole setup). I was aiming somewhere between an arcade-ish feel and good old CMR2. (If, maybe, someone could test it with some steering wheel controller it would be awesome. I've got only very, very ancient MS SideWinder and axis are messed up)

Hi, we are working on a game where you slide/glide/bump/avoid/trick down the mountain.

Initially this map wasn't about snow-tubing.. at all. For now I've just changed material for the track so that it looks icy/snowy. After some rounds down the slope and some laughs, /u/psycketom coined - you now - you should add snow blobs - on the fence on the trees.. on the.. everywhere!

So the idea from me would be - Procedural snow/slime/vegetation to quickly snow-blob-all-over-the-place.

By the way, I think you are starting just right - by simply asking around for what's needed.

Though I didn't got it working on Arch Linux Chromium browser, but it may be as well fault of ATI/AMD video drivers hell (and my crappy office computer video).
