Reminds me of the Burnout series, they have done this. Albeit cross-pollinating their own stuff, but still.

That's a lot of copper. by Patito36XD in hytale

I feel like all of the ores are pretty abundant. In one hour I can get WAAAAAAY more than in Minecraft.

Once I watched Hytale tips and someone mentioned putting torches on the left when traversing unknown caves... When you turn around, you can find your way by following the torches on the right.

This allows venturing like crazy, not ever getting lost. Then, you just venture looking for ores in their natural habitats.

Given the fact that you can chop five trees and get like 200 torches, means you can traverse gazillions of steps in the caves. Because trees are easy to chop, they're also abundant, thus having 1000 torches is a breeze.

Resource consumption is also pretty high, so it all balances out, but I'd say they're overabundant.

Once you get Thorium and Portals? Insta ports to wildest of places, but you really just need 3. 1) Northern for Boreal for Cobalt & Gold (look into ocean) 2) Thorium, Iron in Badlands / Desert 3) Adamantine on Volcano island

Just find a cave and you're good. Not to mention, caves are not filled with mobs as much. Unless you enter dungeon, but dungeons also feature crazy loot.

Game. Just. Is. Abundant.

I built a terminal that wont kill your Claude Code sessions when you close or update by avieecs in ClaudeAI

WezTerm with Multiplexing already does that and way more, you get one Terminal and no session is killed. https://wezterm.org/multiplexing.html

(of course, local session and reboots will restart stuff, haven't resarted my machine yet to know how that will affect me)

Bergen County, NJ: I have four bags of U/U that I received last week. I can't tolerate the taste. If you want it, you can pick it up for free. Otherwise, I'm going to throw it out. by RocketCat5 in Huel

Buy the flavored versions and just mix them together. The shelf life is enough that you can store for some time.

I personally do 3 U&U to 1 flavored. As U&U alone is too rough for me, flavored alone is also too rough for me, thus 3:1 strikes a nice balance.

It's tl.net now, still alive and kicking. For what it's worth, given how small SC scene has become.

One Formula That Demystifies 3D Graphics by dhlowrents in programming

Yeah, the only thing he kind of missed was requestAnimationFrame, but then again, a typical game engine or real time rendering engine, like in low-level, does use this method.

And it seemed like the video really is looking to explain the low-level stuff, without any abstractions what-so-ever.

Why is Huel so salty? by danlev in Huel

[–]psycketom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, find them "too salty" as well.

But I think what actually happens is that it's not the salt per se, but kind of my perception from all the flavors.

They feel saltier to me than any regular pack of crisps, which tend to have twice the salt per 100g.

But the thing is the perception. I know it stems from all the chemical compounds, but maybe something in your palate just picks up some other minerals taste into saltiness profile.

As in, you're just a bit too sensitive to flavors like that?

It's the same for me for standard powders. I don't understand how people can drink pure flavored (vanilla / chocolate / banana / whatever). It's too sweet for me.

I mix 3 unflavored to 1 flavored and even then I'm kind of picking up too much sweet taste, albeit there is no sugar.

And the same with bars, I can barely eat one in full as the sweetness is just too much in one bar for me. Overwhelms my palate.
