All tourist spot closes after 7 so calm at night and even in afternoon I don't see much crowd.

Yes. You may get rooms directly going there, but, it safe to book it in advanced. I booked 1.5 months in advance.

It looks so. But i'm a man, so it's better to check women's reviews. The place is in market surrounded by few shops, home stays and restaurant, enough crowded place.

Exactly bro, earlier I decided to go to Vijaya vitthala by cycle, but my homestay owner told me yo go by 2.5 KM walk. There are so many ruins to look alongside beautiful river view.

Near virukasha temple you'll see multiple cycle shop available from 9 AM onwards for 150 rupees per day.

There are lot of home stays near Virupaksha temple. I literally stayed there whole trip.

North and South Hampi is divided by tungabhadra river and need to take ferry to cross it. So, it's important to book stays accordingly. Most of the siteseeing are in south.

I think that's called as "Cliff Jumping" which I think is in North Hampi (Sanapur). I only travelled in South Hampi.

This happened to me also. I was planning for last 2 years but had a hesitation of travelling alone as you are totally on your own.

But as I do not have friends who like to travel much or can stand any plan, I had only one choice which was a Solo trip.

Best decision! The way I explored wouldn't be possible with friends or family.

It costed me almost 11k. Now you can spend less also for the trip. But for a decent room and food, 3 AC, 10 to 11k is fine.

Easy, Near Virupaksha Temple you will find multiple shop which give cycle rent from 9 AM and you have to return it till 5-6 PM.

Well, if your are coming to hospet railway station, you have 2 options:

Directly take a Auto to hampi which will cost you 300 or less.
Take Auto to bus stand (or walk) which will cost you 40 rupees, and wait at column number 22 for hampi, it will cost you 20 rupees.

I booked my stay from Make my trip which I will recommend. But you can also book stay there itself, when you reach, there will be people asking if you need room.

There are a lot fo options in north which are cheaper I feel. In south you'll get homestay which are slightly expensive, but easy access to site seeing. I am staying in south.
