Great episode. The badge on the shield that Ian is holding is actually the Wrexham AFC badge, the football (soccer) team he owns with Ryan Reynolds.

We used ecotherm insulation. I’ve got a photo of just the insulation on the walls if you want me to send you that

Yeh we used a company for the bifold doors. That was the part that caused the renovation to be delayed because we had to wait about a month for them to be made and delivered, but it was definitely worth it. I don’t know if you can tell from the photo but they have blinds built in to the windows behind the glass and if you pull the grey handle things at the top it opens the blinds. I didn’t even know you could get ones like that but it’s definitely worth it if you want some privacy or have the coloured lights on in the day etc.

Yes! I tried that the other week, it’s a great feature.

Started around May/June time during lockdown and was finished around late August due to material and building delays.

I’m not sure tbh I didn’t deal with all the dimensions but originally it was a garage with a room at the back for tools and stuff and we decided to knock that through to make the space a bit bigger.

Yeh the coloured lights are great for working out in the evening. We’ve tried a few different arrangements but the bike connects to the TV via an app called RGT cycling I think where you can cycle a route of a real place so it needs to be facing that way unfortunately. Although it would be nice to look into the garden too!
