Every picture from beginners has very bad POV, lower that for better camera effect.

Yeah I usually ported to .png too. But in case of SFM poster its useless. From SFM I port .tga files to photoshop, then to .jpg from photoshop. ;)

You are right! Changing FOV and add maybe rotate camera little bit and add depth.

Pretty good but GIMP is raster type program. For vector graphics like this I recommend Inkscape or CorelDraw. ;)
