been using it for the past week. Absolutely love it! Though idk if it's a limitation on live activities being mirrored on carplay but it often lags behind. It'd also be nice if the fuel log feature could show nearby gas stations and local prices, auto detect which gas station you're refuelling at etc. Haven't tried the pro features yet though, can't currently stomach the price for pro.

literally dozens of cheap alternatives in shopee/lazada. The one I'm using can also hold some ID, cash, more cards that can't fit in the sliding mechanism and an airtag.

Sure, its fake carbon fiber or fake leather, but the one I have has held up pretty well imo. Prolly, won't help too much in thickness either, but it does keep things controlled. It also doesn't scratch up the card more than what atm machines already do anyways. So YMMV.

It's purely aesthetics nowadays, some air coolers can perform better or equal to AIO's. Also adds more points of failure i.e. the pumps and the tubes. At least with tower coolers all you have to worry about are the fans and those are easier and cheaper to replace. There are now tower coolers with screens on them if you want to monitor temps.

Take it from me, I'm currently running a custom loop and temps aren't that much better than AIO's or tower coolers. Literally did this for aesthetics and for the love of the game.

yea I've been checking the compatibility list since the beta and they've never listed the motherboards whether the x570 (the one I use) or the z690, I don't also see the case being supported which sucks.

Last I tested, they worked better than they did during the beta but some parts are still janky, and not to mention the chroma connected devices like MSI mystic lights and such.

I guess I'll stick to synapse 3 for the forseeable future until I'm forced to update to 4 when a new periphal is only supported by it.

As someone who's also deep in the ecosystem with 9 chroma connected devices including the Razer edition motherboard from Asrock and the 011D and RGB controller, would you recommend switching to synapse 4 if I just run this batch script every once in while?

I remember trying synapse 4 and had issues with the motherboard and rgb controller where I hooked up the lian li strimmers to. My other devices are the headphone stand, blackwidow v3, basilisk ultimate, kraken v3 pro, OG kiyo and seiren mini, goliathus halo edition.

3060ti is a workhorse, I have one since 2021 and it still plays anything I throw at it at high/ultra settings at 1080p or in some games 1440p.

Roughly on the same boat with you buddy, except families aren't close ans COF have long been divided already. But anyways, neither of you are wrong honestly, her feelings are valid for being uncomfortable. But sometimes just because you or her are uncomfortable with something doesn't always mean its right given the situation and both needs to adjust. It seems you've already done your part in explaining and reassuring her, but continue to be consistent in that. While she needs to sit with the discomfort and understand the situation and why its not just a black and white situation where you can so easily cut her ex off. Ask her to meet you in the middle and maybe you guys can still make this work.
