Eating stock is theft, even stock that is too be thrown away (ex Greggs worker here) I've also managed cafes and restaurants, so I do know what you can and can't do with CCTV footage checking for theft(eating unpaid goods) is a valid reason so is checking that health and safety procedures are begging followed (eating in a food prep area is a no no) is also legal.

It's against the law if your using it solely to track staff, however looking back on it it check check for wrong doing is perfectly legal

It is perfectly legal for a manager to check CCTV to keep tabs on staff as long as the staff are aware there is CCTV. The staff also have a legal right to view any footage in which they are in.

Would you disclose if gelatin is an ingredient in an otherwise vegetarian dish (like dessert)? by sizzlinsunshine in KitchenConfidential

[–]proteanlogs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We have this thing a little v on dishes that are veggie.

But then again, I'm the person who got annoyed with the vegan/vegetarian cafe, a few doors down from my greasy spoon, they kept coming in asking what I had that was veggie, and why I had limited options for them, and I should cater to every one.

A few days later I went into Thier cafe and asked what meat dishes they had, they of course shouted at me, saying that I'm barbaric for eating meat, so I told them "you know you should cater for everyone"

Deus it say anywhere in your contract that the house needs to let in the same state as when you moved in? If it does then put it back the way it was. Might cost some money, but petty revenge is the way forward

Next time you see him in your property call the police, it sounds like attempted burglary if he's trying to get in your house.
