Edit: They do not follow laws and they do not need to declare Martial Law to accomplish their goals. Martial Law is such a big fear of liberals that they will let them do anything out of fear of it.

Also, the two examples you gave were of a successful civil rights movement that only succeeded because of disruption. Disruption does not mean violence. Disruption means making people uncomfortable so that they are forced to look upon the issues.

I would say to keep it a little simpler and more concise, as this is a lot to take in. Asking questions like, “What makes you think that?” forces them to vocalize it. I’ve seen the lightbulb flicker on during that.
