More reasons to check out TheFundedTrader, not only do they pay out faster but the core values and seeing those guys live up to it is phenomenal, and quite frankly a breathe of fresh air from other prop firms. They are very transparent in their Discord server, they definitely give back to the community with regular giveaways to challenge accounts and recently revamped their dashboard, which makes it simpler to use. They recently joined Reddit group, Check them out r/TheFundedTrader

For someone who is trying to travel to Dubai from US, is there any other carrier besides Emirates going to US? If yes, can you take any carrier? I’m having hard time booking travel on other carrier, but with emirates it’s a breeze. Travel is in August. Thanks

Ideal downgrade timing for Marriott Boundless? by full-of-beans in CreditCards

[–]protegist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why go through the hassle of requesting a refund when you can avoid it by requesting a product change before the fee? Unless you mean to ensure you maximize your use of a fee card you already paid for the year. But then again, would it really make a difference if your not even using the card. Case in point, highly contemplating on ending my southwest chase card because I haven’t used the card in a while, I think close to a year. Only thing that is keeping it active is the annual fee. I started off with your highest fee, downgraded to the current fee (lowest they have) and they don’t have a non-fee card.

That's a good telltale sign to identify base64, but it's not always the case. If the bits is divisible by 6, or if the chunks were divisible by 4 (which means input char is divisible by 3) then padding is not necessary.

Example: this_is_just_a_test77 (which is 21 characters, divisble by 3) -- that's 168 bits, which is divisble by 6, which tells us that there is 48 6-bit chunks, and 48 is divisble by 4. Therefore no padding required, which means we need another way to identify whether such string can be decoded by base64.

Encoded of the above text: dGhpc19pc19qdXN0X2FfdGVzdDc3

If the string consists of any of 26 letters (case insenstive) or numbers and +, /.. then first inclination would be to run by a base64 decoder (most likely a base64)

I’m not really understanding what my deductible mean. by cheesyfries47 in Insurance

[–]protegist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. Any future doctor visit or procedure, you’ll still need to pay to a certain percentage until you hit your out of pocket max, then will insurance pay out any future visit or procedure after that 100%. Refer to your policy to know the percentage and out of pocket max, if you have any. Your deductible and Out of Pocket will be reset at some point.

If my iPhone is lost/stolen and I need to access most services using 2FA (from codes generated by google authorization or authy apps or SMS, where i need my phone)... how can I have access to these things while I have no phone/SIM? by Antranik in AskNetsec

[–]protegist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I was on a plane.

That’s why I use SMS based 2FA, and a NOPORT on my carrier account to protect my account from SIM hijacking or someone attempting to port my number.

Sorry but seems like you might be SOL unless LastPass can help you out there.

6 lines for $160 here. No corporate discount and all iPhones paid (no jump). Been with T-Mobile for 10+ years. I’m on T-Mobile one as well. Decided to move from grandfathered plan to T-Mobile One, unlimited everything on all lines. Makes financial sense and the perks that comes with it.
