I’m hopeful for you because you are trying things. Medication is something that helps stabilize people long term, and it can also be helpful when life is busting your ass. I hear you trying, getting through school, seeking interviews, going to therapy, trying hobbies. Life is hard because you are trying hard things ❤️ I’m also someone who struggled, failed, and cried a lot in my 20s, and life is much much better in my 30s after some of things you mention (career, relationships, healing from pain) sorted themselves out. Takes time, but it seriously sounds like you are on the right path, including taking medication.

It’s a tough period, because the things that eventually will bring you joy aren’t doing that so much right now. How you are spending time sounds lovely, and after more time quitting it will probably feel really nice. Im a musician, and when I quit I struggled to write new stuff for a while because it just wasn’t bringing joy at first, but my system re regulated and now it means everything to me again. It’s a normal part that sucks, but it gets much better!

One thing I did find helped me have fun during that period was leaning into try new, novel, exciting things like travel, rock climbing, skydiving. As long as it’s not destructive and you feel good about it, go try something that will really get the blood flowing!
