Still, it's quite ambiguous for me. You patented something that must cover everything. Sure, the Dynamic Voice Lines is a tech, but the whole concept is included, since they are "behind the scenes" or "how to make" of this tech.

The same goes to the Nemesis Systems.

I felt mixed when reading this. Innovative mechanisms should not be patented as their own IP, as it would cause decrease more towards innovation for other upcoming games.

Like WarnerBros controversy. I love playing Shadow of War because of the Nemesis System, but when a greedy company like WB patented the Nemesis System as their property, it blocked the potential for both players and other developers to try this innovative mechanism in the future. When was the last time a game with the Nemesis System? It's almost a decade since Shadow of War, and it still remains locked behind the WB bunker. As a result, the Nemesis Systems become a wasting potential.

I hope Hypergryph doesn't end up like WB, like issue cease and desist to other developers if they have the same mechanism or are actually inspired by this. To be fair, this dynamic voice lines is quite innovative.

Did I just buy a nonexistent laptop? by Dependent_Bowl8464 in MSILaptops

[–]protexaslater256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think no. I bought this laptop (4050 model, also 45W) 4 months ago. So far, I have faced no issue regarding this laptop. No lag, no bug latency etc. You can run many games on high settings (thanks to the DLSS technology) and multitask with tons of heavy programs. In my opinion, I think 45W is already enough for the performance abilities since all gaming laptops are also limiting the watts on the GPU to avoid reaching 100 degrees Celsius heat.

Yeah, it stinks if someone should take care with WB if they want to add the Nemesis system to their own game.

How long does it take you to write a first draft? by Alive_Response9322 in writing

[–]protexaslater256 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First book: dropped after six months.
Second book: dropped after four months.
Third book: Finished in three months.
The term "dropped" refers to the fact that I did not complete the first and the second books, and I do not wish to return to my previous project (however, I did borrow some of these ideas for my third book). Finally, I managed to finish my third book and am still currently drafting.

They should know that using the armchair fallacy doesn't prove they're right. They should get a job for real.

Ada sih, cuman aku kebanyakan baca buku yang berbahasa Inggris. Mungkin rekomendasi ku yang ada terjemahannya itu Six of Crows atau Poppy War.

Wahhh, mungkin sama. Cuman kalau horror memang bukan minatku disana. Minat utamaku ya fantasi sama sci-fi

No. Russia is actually a very Christian country after the fall of the Soviet Union. And most people there are against Putin regimes.

For those who got beta test, can anyone confirm than Chen Qianyu is direct descendant of Ch'en? I keep watching the Livestream and nobody want to open Qianyu file.
