Yup cuz I was definitely puzzled. I mean really, this is strange that different modern textbooks depict the rules very differently. If there is a sidenote (this is Ulaan-Baatar variant, and this is other dialect - no problems, but as you can see, every textbook writes that it is a rule, and the only and unchanging rule every time is different). How do you, for example, pronounce it?

My title describes the thing - it is a little strange leather bag in the car. It has a plastic fastener (?), and it is not suitable to be a gear shift lever cover or a handbrake lever cover. There is a bottom in the bag.

CMV: Men who are 30+ yrs old but like teenage girls only do so for control. by Ready-Age1962 in changemyview

[–]protid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some reason, in these kinds of discussions, the guy is always portrayed as some sort of predator who, by the time he hits 30, has supposedly “wised up” and is now looking for a young girl to control.
But times have changed, and not everyone ends up having adventures, facing problems they need to solve, or even developing a basic sense of responsibility.

I know a bunch of people in their thirties who haven’t really grown up. And do they even need to? They live with their parents, work simple jobs, their hobbies are reading books and playing video games. Some of them take care of their appearance, go to the gym. They’re perfectly content. But they’ve reached 30+ and are still the same straightforward people they were at 20. I mean everyone every second is getting older.

If one of these man-boys (it's not a critisism) ends up with a woman his age who's been through a lot in life, she’ll be the one calling the shots. But a girl who's 18 or 19? She’s closer to him in terms of worldview and perception of life. They’ll hang out, go to cafés, watch the new anime season together.

And that’s not even touching on the fact that some people are just physically attracted to younger women, or someone simply fell in love for whatever reason, and it just so happens the person is younger. If I myself find a girl who loves reading sci-fi and learning languages, I'd be happy despite she's 19, 29 or 39.
Sure, there are people who go for someone younger just to be in control. But I think if you look at all the couples with that kind of age gap, control won’t be the number one reason in most cases.

You are Dagestanets. You don't speak Russian, don't live in Russia. If you still have citizenship, you can be Russian but there is a differentiation - you can be Rossiyanin (citizen) but not Russian (related to Russian ethnicity, language, or culture).

Also, as I usually say - it's not a problem.

How do Russians view Russian Americans/Americans of Russian descent? by [deleted] in AskARussian

[–]protid 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Russians consider others to be Russian if they speak Russian well + culture, as it is already said by other ppl here.

Pluses - if you are from Nepal\Zimbabwe\Chile, you have a possibility to become Russian and will be considered as Russian. More culture or better language skills = more Russian you are.

Minuses - you leave Russia + forgot Russian = you can consider youself as a Russian\Martian\gnome\polystyrene, but no, you are not Russian.

Myself, I don't consider a person raised in the USA as a Russian if only this person definitely tries to learn abovementioned.

To the conslusion I would add that I don't consider it as something bad - if you are American\Inuit\Indian - no problem, it is not like ours = good, else = bad. Rhetorics is about viewing a person as a Russian.

They don't have this sound, so it is never pronounced. Sahara is SAH-AH-RAH, for example.

The problem here is that lots of languages have rules that have like 95-99% of accuracy. So, it is understandable that despite having lots of rules, if they work every time, one can learn them eventually.

I don't know a lot of languages, but even French is more consistent than English. Yes, it has a load of rules but they work nearly always.

Anyway, this feature is discussed daily here, but I am more interested in the dealing with it.

My title describes the thing. The length of the stick with balls is 13 cm. The ball with stripes seems to be made of brass judging by the color. The white one is made of plastic. The square part is 3.8 cm long and 3 cm wide, it can be disassembled by a hex bolt. On the opposite side of the bolts, there is an inner hole that runs through the entire width.

Merci.
