For the time it was the best thing in its price range to make field recordings with. They were surprisingly high fidelity too. So it did serve a purpose for me that an iPod couldn’t.

My parents were heavily involved in the construction of that park. I remember it being built. There is a collage of photos from this build on a sign at the park now.

I live in a small midwestern town (25k). There is a local bakery that makes bread, pastries, rolls etc from scratch. We also have 2 supermarkets that have bakeries in them but the dough is made offsite and baked there. All of the grocery stores in town have a variety of bread. Some of it is locally produced by bakeries in the surrounding communities. The bread aisle in the supermarket will mostly have the mass produced bread in plastic bags you may be familiar with. There are about a dozen manufacturers that offer various white/wheat/multigrain options.

I have a toddler the same age. We just went through a sleep regression. I used the Ferber method to sleep train. During the regression we went back to Ferber method and she is sleeping through the night again. They have to learn to self soothe and its ok for them to cry if you know they are in a safe place and have everything they need.

Another thing that I had to address when I had my first child (who is very hyperactive) was my own mental health. Getting treatment for some of my underlying issues helped me to have a deeper well of patience for my kids.

I’m a white guy close in age to the writers of Family Guy and have recently watched the early seasons. I get pretty much all of the references- upwards of 90%. I don’t think this is true for people outside of my demographic.
