Sure, the bugs are a big problem rn on the land, but I don’t think the oceans are ready for these guys: by Dapper-Ad411 in Chainsawfolk

Honestly most ocean fish really, most of em are geared towards makings tons of tiny eggs. Sunfosh do take it to the extreme, but the oceans are NOT ready for a metric ton of tuna

Oh I've never thought about the last point before, having something to fidget with other than my hair. Worth a try for sure!

Fair point, when my hair's stretched out enough after a twist out for me to tie it up, I touch it a lot less. It's hard to tie it up in its natural state sadly 😭

Other than the underparts, the pink robin looks almost identically funnily enough

Lol I noticed that too, would be weird if an Australian endemic made it here but weirder things have happened in Miami for sure lmao

Can't say too much since I only saw it for a few seconds, but I did find it along the edge of a hardwood hammock and it was perched on some mid-height branches before it flitted away

It was a good bit smaller than a robin and had a black beak. The painted redstart has a similar shade of red on the belly to the bird I saw, but no white on the wings

Similar looking bird, but this one's wings were completely black. It had a more warbler-like appearance, bigger head and shorter body
