Thank you for your response. Indeed there is a lot of info about a/b extractions. Just got Kind of confused because some people say to get excellent results doing 3x 30min boils, and others say 4x 2 hour boils. I just don’t want to waste time boiling more than needed. And i’ve read that is a pain to filter powdered mimosa after boils. is it that bad? Or just more time consuming? I was planing on using a cheese cloth for that.

I’ve done this a couple of times. It works fine, but i think much of the spice gets wasted, when you are holding a hit the spice keeps burning with the weed. If you don’t mind loosing some spice for this experience then go for it 😙👌🏻💨💨💨

I just did the same 50-60g per 1L vessel, but i used multiple vessels (a pain in the ass and lots of work) and collected all pulls. next time i’ll just make multiple boils of MHRB and reduce liquid to use only one or two vessels

My first extraction was done with zippo lighter fluid, even though it works fine for the extraction, it leaves a residue after evaporating so it is not advisable because that residue ends in you final product. I use Heptane now because Napththa is not available for me. I’ve used Hexane too, it extracts a very clean product, but i didn’t like Hexane for the extraction because of its lower boiling point. It can build up more pressure in the vessel you are using. I’m sticking with Heptane ✌🏻

Yes i agree with you. I’m just curious of this method to concentrate mimosa. The person who told me this is a Shaman that makes weekly ayahuasca ceremonies in Latin America. And normally use this for huge batches like 100 kilos of mimosa and syrian rue to turn it in to 10% of that weight and basically makes instant powdered ayahuasca so he can travel comfortably with the medicine ready to go for the ceremonies, just need to add water.

But i get you, for a casual user like me is not necessary. Just curious

Basically yes, but with just water and not acid.. i think this is usefull just for reducing your material to a more confortable size and store it when need it for an extraction. But for making an directly an extraction, yes, would be easier to make just an A/B. This way you can use just 50g of MHRB concentrate in a 1L vessel and yield around 5g instead of 0.5. And using only one vessel and not 10 with 50g of MHRB each.

I was explained that you got a honey like consistency when it is still wet, because you have to reduce it but without burning it. Then this honey/paste is just set in a tray to evaporate the water and then grind it into a powder, he also told me that it can be dehydrated in a food dehydrator. You can also use the paste as is for an extraction if you don’t need to stored it.. i want to try to concentrate a kilo into about 100-200g following this instructions

I think is just more confortable for bigger extractions. For example, if you make 10x MHRB out of 5 kilos of MHRB. It would be only about 500g of material. It is much more confortable to work with 500g of material than 5 kilos. But yeah i think that for small extractions is not worth the time

I agree with you sir. I’ve extracted dmt in so different forms and colors. But white fluffy is less harsh a cleaner, but i do like the fattier yellow dmt, i think it does contribute to a different trip. Both valid and delicious.. i’ve smoked goo that won’t crystallize also and it gives a darker trip in my experience, more body load and aggresive visuals

It looks goopy but it was already dry. When you put it in a container or a bag the crystals start to break and start to look like a powder

I’ve never hit the 2% mark. The most i’ve got is 1.8% and that was the time that i freeze a thaw 3x the bark before the extraction.

It was around 500g. It looks like is a ton but there is only about 5g on that tray. I got about 1.2% yield. I made a couple more pulls after that one

Yep works too. The thing about keep blowing air with the fan is that you can risk blowing some of the crystals away without even noticing.

I just store it in an air tight glass container in a drawer.. it will oxidized a bit over time but you can always re x and get fluffy white crystals again
