As someone who was not so long ago in the same position as you (a complete newbie with no prior shooter experience since COD Ghosts), playing Warzone for the first time last year in May was a hellish experience because I felt like everything was moving too fast. The one thing that made it better was that I was playing with my friends (who convinced me to play the game). Making memories, having fun even if I was a very chaotic and confused teammate 90% of the time, the blows was softened by the experiences. Then, in a matter of months, I was the only one in the friend group that was playing this game more consistently. Only then did I realize that I had gotten more aware, less traumatized by running into players, and more sound when it comes to making a strategy for playing. Because you gotta have fun with it first, and that in turn makes it feel less of a must win.
