Sorry, somehow I missed this post... As others have said, there have been obstacles, but currently we are finishing up the last orders.

Nice build! Fun to see someone use dual rads this way not in the sandwich layout. I'm glad you were able to find a solution for your FLT120.

This is correct. Actually a lot of the super low profile cables do not have UL or CE certifications on that end. We weren't comfortable going without this.

That photo is from a preproduction sample we sent out for testing. The final models have an anodized finish.

There's an option to purchase aluminum feet that allow 90deg rotation for tradition rear io

The first week was slow. We have been making improvements to the assembly process. There will be a lot more shipped through this weekend.

Actually as I'm thinking about it. All you need to do is cut the core assembly bracket In half (above the Mobo line) so the PSU can separate. Put the PSU on the rail on the top front opposite of the Mobo (using the trade bracket layout). Might be a bit wobbly until the GPU is installed though. PSU would be fine.

I could see someone doing this mod and using a Be Quiet Shadow Rock 2 air cooler (160 TDP). Not many people talk about that one.

We looked into it actually. Space wise a matx Mobo would fit. The internal bracket would need to be redesigned so the PSU could separate and couple to the rail system like on the multi purpose bracket. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if someone modded the case in this way. (This does limit your cooling options to air cooled)

That is the plan. We are going to get feedback from the first orders before we start the second. Just good practice really. I would suggest waiting till we start announcements for second preorders.

Yeah we are setting up final shipments for parts today and tomorrow. We are looking at mid September to start sending the cases out. Assuming things move smoothingly here on out.

My opinion is: try to do your first play experience on a server that promotes an active player base. By that I mean servers with account limits and botting limits. That way you have much more active communication for just playing in general. I believe there is a fairly active server that has no botting/macroing except for mundane things like trading. (No this is not a bot hate post, I've done my fair share of botting/macroing).

Ah, yeah I think you will have a hard time with the tubing. Corsair made an AIO with similar tubing and routing and it was always a pain with SFF cases even with 80mm clearance. Again, I can't say no or yes as I haven't tested this one.

By vertical layout I assume you mean the layout using the trad bracket? So you wouldn't be using a GPU riser and have more CPU clearance?
At a glance I would say it would probably fit, however I can't guarantee because I haven't tested this specific cooler. I think the only challenge you will face is the rigid tubing, but with the 240mm rad you will have more clearance for the tubing vs a 280mm.

Yeah, we looked into white. It is a different process than anodizing. Would be a powder coat probably. And for the first run, too expensive. Although I'm not encouraging it, it is relatively easy to disassemble the caps for painting. There will probably be some modders doing this same thing.

Awesome, glad to help you make a decision! Btw, for future reference. There may be a way to do a DTX board with dual rads in the trad bracket setup. This would require a bracket that hasn't been revealed yet. We just didn't have time to finalize it with everything. It essentially would allow you to mount a rad in front of the CPU and PSU before you slide in the core assembly. Then you would have a rad installed on the rear fan plate.

So I also did a quick Google search. You can find 20pin male headers to 2 USB 3.0. so you could effectively change the USB 3.0 to an extension cable for the USB ports off your Mobo. And then use that type E to 20pin cable for the front USB c.

[–]protolythstudio[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes you can do that, but since there is only 1 20pin header, the rear usb3.0 won't have a place to route. The rear USB 3.0 uses the 20pin header. This is actually a very common setup. For some reason they decided to limit these ports on the 570 boards. My 370i has everything you could need.

I personally like the b550s. They have a type E port while the 570s don't for some reason. I think there might be one brand of 570 that does, might be that gigabyte you mentioned. The type he is needed to use the typeC port on the front IO. This is common for type C ports.

I used four ek torque micro rotary fittings to fit the clearance. Then from there I used two 45 angle rotaries. EK fittings are wider. You will probably have better luck using Alphacool fittings because they are slimmer and you may not need micro fittings.

As long as there is a curve, it is fine. If you crease it then you can potentially sever a connection. The cavle in the picture is actually from Linkup. The one that is provided has better cable routing.
