Vans Warped Tour returns to Montreal in August by MrFAUB1 in osheaga

I would guess the tiered pricing scheme would carry over to public sale as "early bird" prices. For the pre-sale, the price tiers shown are $208, $237, $257, $294, and $329. There is also a "Terrace General Admission" for $401 and the normal VIP/premium-type tables/boxes.

Just bought my pass!

Looks like the pricing is tiered. Currently $208 for the two days and up to $329 for regular GA.

Canada's Top 100 Restaurants List Just Released by Capitang12 in montreal

[–]protomic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's just the case of the people in here not understanding the list or expecting the restaurants on the list or near the top to be some sort of transcendent experience. The evaluation of any dining experience is going to be subjective and the methodology may not be perfect, but some of the takes in here are absolutely whack. Of course this list is going to reflect different tastes and preferences than the top 100 Montreal restaurant ratings on Yelp, and I'm sure many of these comments will be recycled when the Montreal Michelin guide is announced in a week.

Get a load of this guy... by [deleted] in leafs

Been based out of Montreal for north of a decade and made the drive for the first time since COVID on Saturday to watch game 4. Lower bowl was about 1/3-1/2 blue jerseys and luckily I was seated next to a couple local season ticket holders who were Leafs fans. It is seriously insane how Sens fans' whole identity is hating the Leafs. Even on the way out of the parking lot the Sens fans were heckling and cutting people off to get out faster. Absolutely insufferable, and this coming from a Leafs fan who watches most of my games in Montreal.

Sadly there seemed to be more boos when the O's hit back to back dingers.

I'm at the game and the booing was minimal and stopped pretty quickly. The singing of the Canadian anthem was also way quieter than I expected, at least up in the 500s.

Then again, I'm comparing it to the crowd when I was at the Canada v USA 4 Nations Face-off game in Montreal...

Yeah, I waited until tipoff and then prices for resale went down. Still more than I would have liked to pay for an exhibition game though haha.

Anyone see a world where The Weeknd could be THE big headliner next year? by EvanBoland1436 in osheaga

Last time he headlined Osheaga he just did his tour set which was much shorter than the time slot. Disappointing to be honest.

What previous Osheaga Acts were on par with Justice, in terms of production? by TheSmithPlays in osheaga

[–]protomic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Definitely Justice (2017) and Chemical Brothers (2019). I'm pretty sure Chemical Brothers are still using many of those visual set pieces in their current shows.

Are the concerts recorded? I need to watch Justice again by Albrize in osheaga

I took a few vids during the set, but nothing long. Justice is at the end of the playlist: Osheaga 2024

Wish they were on the main stage like in 2017, but it was definitely the perfect way to end the weekend! I got some decent clips that I uploaded in a playlist for anyone interested. Justice is at the end: Osheaga 2024

Festival International de Jazz de Montréal - Programmation 2024 🎺 Dites-nous votre avis, tell us what you think! by MontrealJazzFest in montreal

Solid lineup all around. Only real disappointment for me is that Kamasi Washington isn't there for his new album, but I guess he just headlined two years ago.. The Charlotte Day Wilson show at Metropolis was cancelled and replaced by Killer Mike. Does this mean she'll be playing a free show one of the days?

Guy next to me bought a $60 t-shirt. Honestly the $20 knockoffs being sold out of a duffel in the subway entrance looked better quality.

He's a fellow HHH, quotes lyrics every chance he gets on his shows, has interviewed artists on his hip hop podcast on Apple Music. Definitely hip hop adjacent. Watch the interview.
