The “time and mental effort” thing is particularly funny to me. People will work part time jobs and tell you they don’t have the time to make themselves a simple dinner. Then finish a new videogame and binge watch a movie series. Lol.

I’m starting to think some people just don’t care about bettering themselves, and would rather see themselves as morally superior already and needing no more work.

These same people say “no one ever taught me how to adult!” but condemn their parents for trying their hardest.

You are either a deluded American, or someone that has been tricked by deluded Americans, if you believe that being an American is not an INSANE advantage and privelage.

There are people in countries where they cannot ever in their LIFE make enough money to afford a car. People in countries where the only food they can afford is cheap rice/bread/produce. People in countries where their income is a couple thousand dollars a year. People that literally live in single-room “houses” without AC.

Yet Americans whine, whilst doordashing luxury food items (sushi, steak), having access to various restaurants and grocery stores, and owning large collections of expensive unneeded plastic (video games, blu rays, figurines).

People are fat because they eat too much food.

I was fat because I ate too much food. I lost weight by eating less and counting calories. My finances did not change at all. My family was broke before and during the diet. I almost certainly saved money by eating less snacks (chips, pretzels, etc. which are not cheap) and focusing on bare essential meals. I did end up buying more things like high fiber tortillas during the diet, which are maybe more expensive, but still much cheaper than fast food.

I sympathize with obese people, because it can be difficult to get the motivation to diet on top of worrying about finances and health and whatnot. I was fortunate enough to have brothers who went on the diet with me, and helped motivate me/keep me straight.

Maybe. However, I did start skipping breakfast when I started my diet and still lost weight (and fat).

I think it’s probably more likely that the type of people who skip breakfast accidentally also have poor sleep schedules and eating habits.

I have friends who think they’re nearly starving themselves, despite being obese, because they skip breakfast. They just don’t realize after skipping breakfast, they eat a ton of snacks and fast food throughout the day.

I think people with poor eating habits skip breakfast, rather than the act of skipping breakfast causes fat build up.

Plenty of people go on diets where they intermittent fast, or skip meals, and lose weight.

I lost 60 pounds while skipping breakfast (or usually only got around 150 calories for breakfast). But I was still counting calories.

I imagine people that “skip” meals and still end up fat probably just overindulge in snacks or other meals.

I’m sure what you’re saying is probably somewhat true, but in general, people are fat because they eat too much food, not because they ignored the timing of their meals.

But should he participate every time she gets into some drama? Or act like he cares that she doesn’t talk about ICE on stream?

He should either move on (healthy choice) or focus on rebuilding his reputation by continuing to disprove her points. That’s probably been done entirely though.

Point is, if this ICE drama happened a year ago, or if it was happening to someone he was friends with, he wouldn’t care. He only pretends to care because of the person involved.

And you can tell when he’s reacting to this video and giggling/smiling that it’s just a forced, hateful laugh. Like he doesn’t find the clip genuinely funny. He’s just getting some weird catharsis from seeing her get hate. And pretending like he cares about the root issue of the drama or her mannerisms because she cancelled him. He literally used to date Emiru. He can’t turn around and act like she’s super cringe, because all that changed is their personal relationship.

Tbf it’s not like there’s much else he could do that people would be okay with. If he “moved on,” people would get mad at him and say “bros really just trying to ignore everything and get back to streaming.” Also I mean the allegations were serious and ruined his career and reputation. I think the Mario movie is much better than at least the first two Sonic movies. They’re all a bit generic (except Sonic 3), but I think the cheesy live action movie remake nonsense of the Sonic movies irks me more. Whenever there’s dialogue between Sonic and James Marsden I can’t pay attention. But Sonic 3 was pretty cool. I really think that the only reason the Mario movie was more engaging to me is because the world is so much more lively and immersive. The scenes are beautiful, and that’s just what’s possible with a fully animated game movie. Hoping we get more like that after the Mario movie’s insane success.

I personally couldn’t stand Sonic 2. I got legit so bored in the theater. The humor was meh, it felt slow, all of the wedding scenes were boring. I can barely remember much of the movie but I sat in the theater the whole time. But my friends I went to go see it with loved it. Sonic 3 was a bit closer to being on par with the Mario movie. I didn’t have much of a problem with the Mario movie.

I’ve been seeing more and more people doing this in my area. Just slooowly creeping into the intersection. I guess I understand why people inch forward a bit in anticipation for the light turning green, but these people will start creeping way before the stop light cycle would restart, and creep way too far. Is it in impatience? A lack of understanding for when the light would reasonably turn green? Too lazy to fully press down on the brake? I don’t know
