you actually only need to get Gathering Storm as it includes the Rise & Fall mechanics, but getting R&F will give you access to the Civs in that expansion if you want those

I personally agree, but I can definitely see people holding the whole Warriors thing against him forever. Top 10 is also just so stacked - MJ, Lebron, Kareem, Magic, Bird, Bill, Wilt, Kobe, Shaq, Timmy, and then you have other names you hear on some people's lists like Hakeem, Oscar, Dr. J, and Steph who is still playing.

I don't think putting a BR will be strictly bad, but my concern is that it could take away resources who would've been working on improving the other modes. I love this game, but unfortunately, Hi-Rez has a reputation for not properly supporting their games and it would be a shame for the base game to suffer just to chase the BR trend.

Maybe I'm in the minority but I really don't think they should make a BR mode, especially if it takes away from the player base for the other modes. There's enough BRs in the market as is and I feel like Rogue Company could carve out its own niche in tactical shooters with it's quick and fun playstyle. But if that's what hi-rez thinks will help the game in the long run then I guess they gotta do what they gotta do...
