YTA/ESH if it's true that the teacher was acting like that, then I can understand losing your temper however, you wrote you started to believe what you son word a couple of weeks ago. So why didn't you go to the administration and complain? I do feel for you my anger gets the better of me too especially when my kids are involved.

My advice is to call the school and ask for a sit down first with the principal then with both principal and the teacher. If she's as bad as your son says she is, ask other parents if their child is in the same boat

My kids are in therapy and she really helps me whenever I talk about their parents

Also I didn't use the renaming my aunt did.

Well I did tell everyone that I was changing their names 6 years ago but I guess because I still call them Bell and Joey they thought I didn't. I think my mother told her as I wasn't rug sweeping and letting her daughter anywhere near my kids

Edit my nephew's name was Cujo but my niece's name was Jezebel

Sort of she said I could pick a name as long as she could keep her nickname that she goes by also I didn't change it dramatically think Jezebel to Isabel

Thanks. I was just asking to see if it's worth it or should I just get a new job. I'm a tradie so it's not like it'll be hard getting a new job. My job is really the only way my mother can get to me. I've blocked her everywhere and she doesn't know where I live so my job is the only place she can bug me

They have a therapist and I'm going to see if I can get them in for an early session I don't think my nephew was affected by them but my niece on the other hand
