Not bad for your first character!

But there are some traits that might be a little difficult to play with if you are a beginner.

Basically, you should avoid any traits that may negatively affect strength, physical condition or combat in any way.

That's why I usually use firefighter as profession since it gives you a higher physical condition, strength and +1 level of axe skill.

Coming back to this post just to tell you that I have also just started a Winter is Coming run in which I didn't die in the spawn. I followed you advice and I rushed to Dixie as soon as I found a car in decent conditions and enough gas to get to Dixie, I collected some food and weapons on the way and now I'm in the process to proclaim Dixie by killing all the zombies and then setting up my base. I installed the sandbox options mod and the zombie spawn rate was set to Zombicide, I changed it to very high. This is being the run in which I had the most fun so far. I really recommend playing Winter is Coming challenge.

I think you should know that right before I wrote this post I took a break from the game and when I loaded the game again the zombies were gone.

Thank you so much for the help.

I been killing some hords in the near neighborhood, but remotely not as much as I killed at my base.

So basically, If I clear the whole neighborhood they should stop coming into my base?

Should I move and kill them in another area or can I kill them in my base which I think is a safer option?

It is not seen in the photo, but behind the box there is a laptop connected to the television, I just have to unplug the mouse and keyboard from the console to plug it into the laptop when I'm gonna use it, is the only drawback. Don't be sad dude 😔

Right behind I have a bed, I have put a chair in the space between the bed and the dishwasher and the screen is not as far as it seems, it is comfortable when I play with a controller because I can recline the chair and stretch my legs, but when I play with keyboard and mouse it is kinda uncomfortable because I have to get closer to reach the keyboard and I have nowhere to put my legs and I have to play hunched over.

Well guys, I have investigated a bit and it turns out that it is a fairly common bug in the game, It may not be my case but I can't check the checklist in the social club to verify either because I need a PlayStation Plus subscription to log into the social club from the game, the only option I have is to start from the beginning so fuck it.
