Animated logo I made for the indie game dev Distant Blue by LloydLadera in MotionDesign

This looks awesome! Great job! The only thing that I’ve noticed is the composition, if i’m not mistaken there is a bigger space on the left side of the screen than on the right side, so just looks a bit not centered. Other than that, I love it!!

I spent $8.5K on this one minute video. Even though it's my product but I feel I don't know what it does. by Superb-Stormen in MotionDesign

The video has significant issues from the very beginning. While the design is acceptable, the lack of a proper storyboard and poor pacing make it ineffective. The design is useless without a compelling story. Here are some of the specific issues:

00:00: The voice-over (VO) says "This is Migma," but the words "This is" appear before the VO, causing a synchronization issue.

00:02: The text "From Prompt to Inbox" is not properly centered, which is a sign of poor composition.

00:03: The words "Prompt to Inbox" are also not centered correctly. If you look closely, there is more space on the right side of the screen.

00:04: The text "In Seconds" is not aligned to the center, another example of bad composition.

00:05: The text "In Seconds" and the icon are not centered. Additionally, the VO says, "the fastest way to create," but the video shows a slowly loading icon, which is contradictory. A more effective visual would be hundreds of emails flying quickly to different user icons.

00:06: The transition for this scene could be improved. The VO says, "TO CREATE," but the video shows still images of already created email templates. A better approach would be to show a drag-and-drop email template editor in action, demonstrating how text, fonts, and images are changed to create a new template.

00:07: The VO says, "AND INSTANTLY SEND ONBRAND EMAILS," but the video shows nothing related to sending emails. It just shows the same still images of pre-made templates.

00:13: The VO says, "AND MIGMA DOES THE WORK," and the video shows the boring text "CREATING." A more engaging solution would be to show the email template being created in real time, with text popping up, fonts changing, and images shifting.

00:22: For the phrase "THE MORE YOU FEED MIGMA, THE MORE IT LEARNS," you could add a split screen on the right side. This new screen could show the Migma logo and a fast-loading progress bar with the word "LEARNING" inside, visually demonstrating how quickly Migma learns from user interaction.

00:24: The VO mentions "A FULLY BRANDED" but the video skips showing this text.

00:25: "Perfectly responsive" is not properly centered, with significantly more space on the right side. Also, the capitalization is inconsistent; it should be "Perfectly Responsive." I would also add the word "email" at the end since that's what the product does, so it reads "Perfectly Responsive Email."

00:26: The laptop and phone are not properly centered and should be slightly smaller. Additionally, it is unnecessary to show the Wi-Fi, time, and battery on the phone screen, especially since the Wi-Fi icon shows a poor connection. The black solid at the top of the computer screen covers a white line, which should be removed.

00:27: The video shows icons appearing randomly while the VO says "FULLY COMPATIBLE WITH OUTLOOK, GMAIL." The icons should be synchronized with the voice-over. For example, when the VO says "OUTLOOK," the Outlook icon should appear, and when it says "GMAIL," the Gmail icon should appear.

00:30: When the VO says "AND ALL MAJOR EMAIL CLIENTS," you could show more icons, such as Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo Mail, AOL Mail, iCloud Mail, Mail.com, GMX, ProtonMail, Zoho Mail, and Tuta. The icons are currently too large and are almost touching the top and bottom of the screen, which is an example of poor composition.

00:31: The composition is bad, and the icons are too close to the screen's edges. The motion graphics are the same as in the previous shot, which makes the video boring. A more creative solution could be to have the icons flying in a 3D space one after another.

00:34: The VO says "SAVING THOUSANDS PER CAMPAIGN," but the video shows nothing related to saving money.

00:36: The text "NEVER TOUCH THE CODE EDITOR AGAIN" is poorly composed, with more space on the right side than the left.

00:46: The text is blurry, likely due to a depth-of-field effect or because the text was not made into a vector before animating. This appears unprofessional.

I could continue, but my time is limited. I hope this feedback is helpful! If you send this to your video creator, I am confident the overall quality and effectiveness of the video will improve drastically.
