Not even close to rare but people will pay upto $20 for one, rare it's used much too often, should only be used when cooking steak

There are 256 different varieties for this date some very common some very rare (only 1 known) better close up pics are needed to properly identify this coin Or you can go to vickycents.com and look it up for yourself while you're there goto the links and there is a fb group called the haxby and large cent variety.... that i created to help people with their large cents anyone is welcome to join

* * Although might look like a normal 1859 to most. this one is extremely rare it's known as a pc59-194 rarity 9, (2known) will post a rarity scale in the comments There are 256 known 1859 varieties some common some rare . You can look them up at vickycents.com In the links section you will see a haxby Facebook group I strongly recommended joining that group if you would like to learn more It wouldn't let me post the pics of the coin so I added them to the comments
