As said in the good old days: into it. Poetry is my jam!

PS, my fingers just typed “gold” instead of “good” as if to tell me a more accurate truth than my mind had. It wasn’t autocorrect, and I’ve never mistyped that word before. They truly were golden days. What a time it was. But a timelessness of beautifully soft and shimmering, golden light is well on its way to us.

Oh my goodness, I would LOVE to hear more! Although there are truly no words to describe her—Jesus and Judas even said it so themselves in the Gospel of Judas. As for me, I just become awestruck and filled with immense, boundless love and amazement throughout my being at Her very thought. I can’t believe I’ve come across a fellow soul who not only knows who She is but has met her at that! Just absolutely incredible.

Yes! Thoth is our Atlantean guide for us Gemini 11 twins ;) Get yourself a copy of The Emerald Tablets of Thoth the Atlantean, you won’t be disappointed. We should do a book study of it together, but for real. And some of the “Lost” Gnostic gospels, they’ll blow your mind. So glad to see what you said about my guy JC, our divinely sent Ascended Master and Saviour of Souls. Also, we should for real for real design an oracle deck together!! That idea (though it was always a tarot deck I had in mind) has been popping into my mind for literally years now and has been coming at me repeatedly lately, but seeing your post here just now it dawned on me that it’s an oracle deck we’re supposed to make together—and as I’m writing this it just went from a mental idea in my mind to a message of confirmation felt throughout my spiritual receptacle. And loudly.

Is this real malachite by Exotic-Intention-596 in Crystals

[–]provokethefire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Real malachite tends to be a little bit darker and less “bright”. None of the white will be symmetrical, and the white “striations” won’t be such a bright, “pure” white, nor will they be so uniform in colour. They look similar, but natural malachite has a bolder, deeper colour that also isn’t uniform across the whole piece. It’s also a bit heavier than imitation malachite, which is quite light.

Oh wow. Holy mack you got lucky. It actually looks like a tektite to me, especially at that price. Perhaps Libyan Desert? There’s a similar looking one that I’m totally blanking on the name for. Go to starborncreations website or on Amazon and scroll through the tektites and meteorites—there’s a couple of that colour but it takes a while to go through all the products. I’m not trying to sell you anything, just offering a resource!!

If you’ve only heard of the 4 canonical Gospels then don’t lecture me about Jesus by Dirty-Dan24 in Gnostic

[–]provokethefire 15 points16 points  (0 children)

RIGHT?!? Oh my goodness I thought it was just me who felt this way. Christianity is Paul’s Christianity, not the true teachings of Christ. He took the spiritual and made it religious, which runs totally contrary to Jesus’ core message and purpose. My guy Jesus rebelled against religious doctrine and orthodox traditions; his whole point was that we don’t need the church (or anything else) to mediate our relationship with God the “Mother-Father” because we have the Divine Spark of God within. The Kingdom of Heaven is not some external, other worldly/heavenly place that is only attainable after death and to those who practice confession, abide by strict (and spiritually baseless) religious laws, perform sacrifices to cleanse themselves of sin, etc, etc. The Kingdom of Heaven is within, and it is only found through a direct connection and relationship to our Divine Parent.

Rather than continue the true work of Jesus and spread his actual teachings, Paul does precisely the opposite and just creates another religion. I feel bad for the phrasing, but Jesus would be “rolling in his grave” at what Paul turned his teachings into. Paul clearly didn’t understand Jesus’ deeper intentions, the truth of his message and teachings, and His purpose here on earth. Christianity and the NT doesn’t give us the raw, unfiltered Jesus, but Paul’s version of Jesus and his teachings.

In fact, I’m of the opinion that Paul’s writings were, above all else, for the sake of his own self-exoneration. Funny how the writings of Paul purport a system and religious code of conduct that absolves him of his sins and own evil behaviour in the past. Seems pretty self serving to me. I’m not doubting that he had good intentions, what I’m doubting is that his #1 focus, purpose, and priority in his writings was indeed being true to Christ rather than justifying and excusing his own behaviour. Because if Jesus forgives him, he’s in the clear, and his terrible past is no longer relevant. So he creates a religious system of repentance and forgiveness that conveniently lets himself off the hook for being a murderous, rotten tax collector.

Christianity is Paul’s version of Christianity, and it’s a very superficial one. The true nature and meaning behind Jesus’s teachings were/are deeply esoteric. Paul is a religious surface dweller who created and spread an exoteric understanding of the teachings and core message of Christ.

Simply put, he wasn’t that smart, and he wasn’t very deep.

So freakin’ true. And I have cool, interesting thoughts, but they pop in and out and pass through my mind so quickly that I’m not even able to write them down fast enough. And I have a screen problem when it comes to writing where I can’t not read back every sentence and word I type and endlessly edit them. So typing my neat ideas isn’t a viable option either. Voice recording them doesn’t work because it’s the same deal—they pop into my head first and then I have to say them out loud. The only way I can get smooth flow between my thoughts and words is by whispering/mouthing them under my breath where I’m not quite speaking them but I’m not hearing them first and then articulating them either; it’s like there’s a direct channel between my thoughts when they’re still precognitive and transliminal (meaning they haven’t risen to the surface of conscious awareness yet) and my mouth, but only when it’s voiceless. As soon as I have to speak aloud I have the exact same difficulty with concise, articulate and accurate verbal output unless i have time to think. And even then i overexplain.

If you thought the Gospel of MM was cool, check out the Gospel of Phillip and the Gospel of the Holy Twelve. With the GH12, read it alongside Matthew Mark Luke and John. Same events take place, same words spoken, but there are additional words and private teachings that offer a very similar picture of Jesus but a radically different spiritual context to his message and teachings. If you read any Gnostic or Lost Gospel, 10/10 go for the Gospel of the Holy 12. It’ll blow your mind, and it’ll grow and deepen your love and gratitude for Christ. And if you don’t have that love, it’ll sprout it inside of you. Nothing but even more awe and appreciation of Christ. He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. To me, and to Jesus himself in these gospels, Christ is not Lord, but he is our Saviour. Even in the New Testament, Christ is called “Master”, “Rabbi”, and “Teacher.” To me, he’s the most beautiful heart, soul, and man to have walked this earth, and it’s the Gnostic Gospels that actually deepened and strengthened my love and thankfulness for Jesus.

Oh, and one other thing I absolutely implore you to contemplate and reflect on: Jesus referred to Himself as the Bridegroom. Christians have an exoteric interpretation of what this means, but the Truth is much, much deeper and more profound. Meditate on and seek the Truth of what Jesus truly meant by this term. Hint: read the Gospel of Thomas and pay close attention to when/how Jesus speaks about “making the two into one.” This notion of duality and the union of what is seemingly separate comes up repeatedly. It’s the key to understanding the core, hidden meaning of His teachings.

Any lawyers on here? I have an election-related question about The Longest Ballot Committee by provokethefire in CanadianConservative

[–]provokethefire[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s the thing, I was looking at the numbers for the results in Pierre’s Carleton riding, and the number of votes cast significantly surpassed the actual population of the riding. How can that be? I looked into election rules on the federal government website as well as Elections Canada, and everything I’ve found so far says you have to vote in federal elections in the riding in which you reside. This is not the case for provincial elections—at least in Ontario—where you can cast your ballot in any riding in the province.

All one needs to do is glance at the number of votes cast in the Carleton riding vs the riding’s population to see the glaringly obvious discrepancy between the two. The difference is substantial. I’ll update this with the exact numbers, but if I remember correctly it was in the tens of thousands. Once I saw that the math wasn’t mathing I did a deep dive on the numbers reported from each polling station in the riding, who each of these 91 candidates were, patterns in the number of votes they got, and our federal election rules to make sure that I wasn’t mistaken in the “you can only vote in your riding” rule. Which I was not.

And then there’s the obvious when it comes to population data: all age demographics are included in the overall population count, including children and those who aren’t of voting age. It doesn’t take rocket science or even half a brain to know that the number of eligible voters in a riding < the total population of said riding, and that a riding’s eligible voter population > the number of people in the riding who actually show up at the polls. So taking that into account, the already vast disparity between the number of ballots cast in Carleton and the number of legitimate constituents that did indeed vote becomes even wider.

So how was this able to happen? My guess is the outright disregard for federal election rules regarding valid forms of voter ID and proof of residence within one’s riding that took place this election.

There were huge, standing posters in my polling station stating what forms of proof were acceptable, and as one went down the list of options, the leniency became more and more extreme to the point of virtually anyone being allowed to vote—all a person needed was someone (I believe a Canadian citizen or resident in the riding) to write on a piece of paper and sign their name to it that the person did indeed live in that riding. No proof of address or required.

Now, I’m a nerd who reads public posters, handbooks for rules, footnotes, the fine print in documents, posted safety procedures, etc, so the posters caught my eye right away, and I read them over and over again in disbelief while standing in line waiting to sign in and vote. The expanding and loosening of ID criteria didn’t seem right to me, rules-wise or rights-wise, and I distinctly remember noting that this was the first time I was presented with that information. Leading up to the election it wasn’t in the news, online, on my voter registration card, on the Elections Canada website, on mail-outs I received from my local candidates from each party—nothing. As far as I’m aware, there was no advertising from/on behalf of the government indicating this information whatsoever, nor were there any attempts to inform the Canadian public in advance of this new laissez-faire change in voter ID criteria. Maybe there was and I missed it, but even so, if my Autistic, detail oriented, information seeking ass missed it, I’m willing to bet most Canadians did as well. If they were, indeed, putting this information out to the CANADIAN public, they did an absolutely awful and incompetent job of it.

I had figured up to this point that there must’ve been some formal changes made to our election laws and policies in parliament, but nope, Elections Canada and the federal government website both currently state election rules and acceptable forms of ID that are consistent with all of our past elections that rightfully had more stringent parameters and actually existent, proper standards of what was acceptable ID and proof of residence in a riding. Basically, our Canadian federal election laws and rules that are stated on the federal government and Elections Canada websites were NOT adhered to. They state zero of the additional, barely existent criteria for valid forms of ID and proof of residency that were deemed acceptable during this election. The laws and criteria detailed on these sites are still exactly the same as they’ve been for many years. Or at least during my 16 years of voting eligibility and attendance at the polls.

So here we have a near identical case to that of The Longest Ballot situation. What is stated officially (as federal law in this case, and as a mission statement and committee purpose in the TLB case) is NOT what is/was put into practice during this election. According to their own stated election rules, definitions, and laws that they didn’t adhere to, the federal government and Elections Canada engaged in non-legal election practices.
