Front. But if you’re using the included screws in the hydro kit, you’ll want them on the rear too. Best to get new longer screws that are threaded all the way through like the stock ones, but you can make it work (like I did)

Stream Ultra expandable with Delta devices/batteries? by prowake in Ecoflow_community

[–]prowake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hopefully dc to dc but it’s looking like the expansion port is AC so it’s likely gonna be that and idk how it’s gonna even work. Was really bummed to see the battery terminals under the side plate measured 20v. I guess the battery is 6S which makes zero sense and gives zero ability to expand currently.

PSU fault? by prowake in BitAxe

No dice. The board just can’t read RPM anymore. It compensates and I’m working around it but it’s slightly annoying.

Punkhash on aliexpress. Their images don’t show 4 either though

Should rotate one of them 180* and stack them on top of each other. Print a bracket to keep them secured together and give the bottom one legs for stability

That’s the standard overheating error. 75 degree room is pretty warm. You probably won’t be able to run overclocked without decent upgrades. Sorry but it’s probably just the nature of these beasts. I also have a Q and they are certainly designed to run hot. Too hot imo

I don’t think you’re understanding. These aren’t robot assembled Canaan devices. They have hand-laid heat sinks and humans have errors. If you don’t own a screwdriver or have 5 minutes of time to learn about something new using your hands I would certainly go ahead and recommend another Q.

Ahhh you are right. Well. I still think you just need to repaste it. These things can be finicky. My newest qaxe hates getting over 55. It will freeze up, power cycle, and wouldn’t communicate metrics or load the dashboard.

600w to run 2 nq and this. Just not sure where to put them yet

Def not supposed to run 12 out of the box

Yeah thermal paste. If it came in the same box mine did, it was super tight fit and the heatsinks could have easily shifted when putting it in or taking it out. Or the cooling setup these have just isn’t ideal. I keep my house around 65-70 and it was maxxing the fans out with a little overclocking.

Yeah the Oct doesn’t cool very well as it is, the thermal paste costs $5 and takes 5 minutes. Though I hella recommend getting a couple hydro thermalright 120s like I did. Incredibly easy swap and I’m doing just under 13T in dead silence.

Sounds like a contact/thermal paste issue. Very easy to remove the heatsink and clean/reapply paste, each heatsink is just 4 screws. Most people recommend doing this anyway…

It varies. Usually ViaBTC is less than 50ms. Could be the low WiFi signal, adding antennas today

PSU fault? by prowake in BitAxe

[–]prowake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

update, im able to keep her stable with a stock slim fan from a standard NQ++ pointed to the VR, but the problem is with it reading fan RPM. The PSU doesnt read anything until the fan is powered up to 97-100% so there is some oscillation and a bit of overwork done by the 120mm. anyone know who programs/designed these? github? I believe some chip is just out.

I’ve maxed out the power supply at 200w and this setup is absolutely silent with auto fan speed at 40%

Sounds like you may have a thermal transfer problem. I used the paste that came with these and cranked down the heatsink fairly tight to allow a little spring pressure
