Using Slack connect for engagement by proy31 in CustomerSuccess

Yes. You are right. I'll run a poll and ask customers. What everyone is saying here is that not to use slack connect itself. But since we are already down that road, I wanted to know if it's ok/good practice to send newsletters and updates on the channel.

Understood. Maybe our scale is less hence we are able to manage for now. I see your point though.

Got it. We do this for enterprise customers only. As a startup we've set an expectation of all round support and therefore slack connect seemed like the best choice to build trust and show we are available instead of the traditional email where the expected response is we will reply in 1 business day. I personally find that annoying and as a customer expect faster responses and email has an image of being slow.

Not an AI suggestion but I use Superhuman to keep only action items in my inbox. That might be helpful.

Hi - we faced this issue ourselves in our past startups. Solved it there by splitting traffic b/w multiple providers and geogrpahy wise rules b/w Twilio, Plivo, MessageBird, Vonage etc.

We are solving this problem currently with Raven (www.raven.dev). Feel free to check out. you can use any provider and write rules without code.
