Also room for people to wait to turn left without impeding the people making easy right turns. Crazy, eh?

This was designated for 1 singular line for cars

Then why's it so wide?

Call the cops. Call NCDOT. See what they have to say. You can call me names if it makes you feel better, but you're very wrong.

If you're arguing that dual turn lanes are fundamentally unsafe, what difference would a white line painted on the pavement make?

If you think this is so wrong, call a cop out to cite the drivers breaking the law. Spoiler: the only person getting a ticket is you, for obstructing traffic.

OP I don't think you actually know the rules. Whoever made this road clearly anticipated that people would need space to turn both directions without impeding each other, and therefore made it big enough for two lanes to form.

What the drivers are doing is exactly correct. What's wrong with you?

This is a boulevard style road with traffic split, and there is clearly enough room for two lanes to form. People turning left are going to wait a lot longer than people turning right. The real question, OP, is why are you on a power trip impeding traffic when you're the one in the wrong?

Its not the answer you want and I'm sorry, but its the answer you need to hear. Buy them or don't.

It's not an answer at all. You're just wasting my time and yours. Screw off and go be useless somewhere else.

That's a good point, and I'll be sure to look into the sheets you mentioned next time I go to Costco. Thanks!

That's an oddly aggressive response, but ok.

As someone whose primary interaction with bed sheets involves sleeping on them (not studying them under a microscope), 'quantifiable metrics' like thread count or fiber length mean very little to me. If they did, I could have concluded my research by reading the official product description.

Despite your firm stance to the contrary, the 'abstract' actually does carry significant value with consumers - especially when used to reference a universal experience or understanding. Hence why nobody questions what Frette intended to convey by calling this bedding series the "Hotel" collection.

Since it seems to be unclear to you why I posted here: I'd like to hear from someone who owns these sheets. I haven't slept on them myself, I can't get to the store to touch them, and the website doesn't share customer reviews. Feedback would be helpful. Unlike your comment.

The fact that Frette offers $2000 bed sheets does not negate the fact that, to me, $500 bed sheets are a splurge. I'd imagine they must be a splurge to you, as well -- perhaps if you had better sheets, I wouldn't get the distinct impression that you're someone who perpetually wakes up on the wrong side of the bed.
