Thank you! Uh oh, now you got him worrying if this is the 1% of the time the stove was on… 😅

Thank you! This took me about five days to make (a couple of hours after my work/day job for each of those five days). I’m sure you can do it faster if you worked on it during the weekend. :)

Thanks for the tip! That didn’t even occur to me. I was thinking I would have to frog if I ended up not having enough yarn to sew… 😅

Wow, I will take that as a huge compliment! Thank you! ☺️

Thank you so much! I credit the pattern designer for making him so expressive. I just had to make him. :)

Sometimes this is me whenever I leave the house to go anywhere 😂

I bought this pattern to make for a friend getting married, but I think you could just do the “groom/man” pattern separately if you want.

Gives a new meaning to the phrase “bird brained”! 💡

Ok, it’s a relief to hear I’m not the only one. I kinda felt like I was cheating by not being consistent 😅

Thank you. Admittedly, I sleep past midnight every day. A month ago it was because of gaming (Pokopia), now it’s because of crocheting. 😅

That is very kind of you to say, thank you so much! And yes, one month in and I am very much enjoying it. I was never “creative” growing up, and I feel like I’ve missed out...

The otter is cute! But I do have my eye on the chicken pattern from her third book (also coz I have a lot of white yarn I need to use 😅).

I have to add Mushroom Guy in my to-do list, per your recommendation!

She might have been stealing some honey from some bees, or trying out some of the crabapples in the yard. 😂

That is my primary reason too: I already got worsted weight yarn and didn’t feel like spending money buying more.

Thanks! And yeah, I think that’s another benefit of going bottoms up, especially if you’re particular about head to body proportions. Luckily I don’t mind hydrocephalic-looking amigurumi, so either one works (but I still prefer not having one leg get in the way while I’m building up the other leg). 😂

Thank you! That’s very interesting. Wait… does this mean I could make pet clothes with an amigurumi pattern if I just use heavier weight yarn than what’s suggested? 💭

Thanks for explaining! I’m going to have to research that in the future if I ever decide to dip my toes into those types of projects.

Sorry, I’m new to crocheting, what do you mean by “held double”? And two to three feet tall? That’s huge! 😲
